Joey Wong, who debuted in the 1984 film ‘Ban-Hui-Hyeon-Rang’, moved to Hong Kong after filming in Taiwan and played leading roles in various genres of films. She was loved throughout Asia as the ‘original bookend goddess’ with films like ‘A Chinese Ghost Story’ and ‘The East is Red 2’.

She left the entertainment industry after the 2004 film ‘Beautiful Shanghai’.
