Actor Jin Tae-hyun and his wife Park Si-eun shared the heartwarming news of adopting two more daughters, and he was humbled by the outpouring of support and praise.
Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun adopted a college student from a Jeju Island orphanage where they had been volunteering for several years in 2019. They also revealed the daily lives of the family of three with their adopted daughters on SBS ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny’.
Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun recently revealed that they had adopted two adoptive daughters whom they had met at an orphanage. In response to the enthusiastic response, Jin Tae-hyun wrote on his SNS on the 8th, “I am not a good person, kind person, or good person. I am just a person who tries to live for just one second as Jesus taught me in the Bible. I am definitely not the type of person who packages goodness with an image. “I‘d rather run around the track for two more hours than that,” he said, honestly sharing his feelings.
Jin Tae-hyun said, “The world is a war of images. Discernment is important, and you have to know how to distinguish between the real and the fake. I also try not to put myself first by fiercely reflecting on myself every day. I try to live by the words, ’raise the low and the struggling.‘ I don’t live for my popularity, fame, likes, and followers. If I were to chase those things, I wouldn‘t be living like this. I would be going down a different path to become more famous and achieve cinematic success.”
He said, “I think that people have to empty themselves, stop, and let go the moment they get even a little bit higher,” and shared his convictions. “I’m writing this message with gratitude because your compliments and support have been so overwhelming these past few days. If you can support me and my wife and I, please treat a friend who is having a hard time around you to a cup of coffee and a meal. Please take the time to take care of someone.” He said, “At some point, the name ‘love’ became too light. However, I firmly believe that loving someone who cannot be loved is the first step to living a meaningful life.”
