Singer Lady Jane is pregnant with twins.

On the 10th, Lady Jane posted an ultrasound photo on her Instagram and said, “A precious new life has finally come to us” and shared the news of her pregnancy. She said, “Many of you have been curious about my current situation since I announced my IVF treatment a few months ago, but I waited until I was stable, so I can finally share the news now. And they’re twins! At first, I was worried, but now I‘ve accepted my fate(?) and am gratefully holding them in my arms”.

Lady Jane said, “Maybe that’s why I‘m in terrible condition because of the morning sickness and swelling even though I’ve just passed 12 weeks. I‘d like to thank my acquaintances who understood even though I had to cancel my plans in a hurry. If there are any tips from seniors who have safely gotten through this time, please share them with them.”

Lady Jane also announced her pregnancy through a YouTube video. In a video filmed with her husband, Lim Hyun-tae, he explained, “A very precious new life has finally arrived. We failed the first and second rounds of IVF, but succeeded in the third round.” Lim Hyun-tae said, “I had a hard time. I felt sorry and thankful the whole time I was watching, but I was overcome with emotions. I shed a lot of tears.”

Lady Jane revealed that she had undergone a PGT (preimplantation genetic diagnosis) test before the third round, explaining that she had implanted two embryos and became pregnant with twins. She said, “Ten days later, before the blood test, something felt a little strange. I had a pregnancy test at home, so I did it, and one line came out. I thought I was excited, so I threw it away. But I still felt different from usual. “I opened the trashcan again and saw two lines on the pregnancy test,” she recalled. She called Lim Hyun-tae right away, and he said that he cried so much that he had a hard time driving when he heard the news.

She revealed that her mother-in-law had the dream. It was a dream of a pretty horse and a puppy becoming paper dolls and putting one in each pocket.

Lady Jane said, “When I did the ultrasound for the third time, they said there were two baby houses. I was so shocked. I thought, ‘What should I do?’ I was so worried. When I brought out the ultrasound pictures and said, ‘What should I do? They’re twins?’ Hyun-tae suddenly burst into tears and cried on the spot.” She confessed, “I thought, ‘I can’t do this,’ thinking about how I could give birth to twins and how I could raise them.” Lim Hyun-tae said, “I was so touched. When I looked at the information on Mom’s Cafe, it said that if the blood test results were higher than doubling, there was a high chance of twins. So I had a hunch,” and added, “It was so good. However, I was worried whether my wife, who is old and small in stature, would be able to handle it well,” he said.

Meanwhile, Lady Jane married Lim Hyeon-tae, who is 10 years younger than her, in July 2023 after dating for 7 years. They also revealed their newlywed life on SBS ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny’.
