The new tvN weekend drama ‘Love on a Single-Log Bridge’ (directed by Park Joon-hwa, written by Im Ye-jin), which will be aired for the first time on the 23rd, is a work that unfolds a war-like romance between Seok Ji-won (played by Joo Ji-hoon), a man who was born on the same day with the same name in the families of enemies, and Yoon Ji-won (played by Jung Yu-mi), a woman who reunites after 18 years since a painful separation in the summer of their eighteenth year.
In the drama, Seok Ji-won is the executive director of Seokban Construction and the chairman of Dokmok High School. He is a naturally cheerful man who has excelled in both academics and sports since he was young. To him, Yoon Ji-won is his first love and an enemy with whom he has had a terrible feud for three generations. Seok Ji-won, who had a painful breakup due to a terrible misunderstanding caused by family feud and a twist of fate, reunites with Yoon Ji-won 18 years later as the chairman of Dokmok High School.
Joo Ji-hoon previously said at the production conference, “(Seok Ji-won and Yoon Ji-won) met when they were young, so I pretend not to know and hide my feelings, but when I meet Yoon Ji-won, I unknowingly revert to a childlike state.”I was hit by Yoon Ji-won a lot, but there are more scenes in the drama where I use my body more than I thought. He said, “I think the action scenes so far were for ‘Love on a Single-Log Bridge’.”
Joo Ji-hoon also said, “He changed from a green apple to a ripe apple mango. He’s ripe, but not greasy.”
