The story of Im Ji-yeon, who becomes a fake woman, pioneering her own destiny unfolds.

JTBC‘s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Madam Ok’s Tale’ (written by Park Ji-sook, directed by Jin Hyeok) is a work that depicts the fierce survival fraud drama of Ok Tae-young (played by Im Ji-yeon), a woman whose name, identity, and husband were all fake, and Cheon Seung-hwi (played by Choo Young-woo), a celebrity who risked his life to protect her. The production team revealed the key points to watch on the 29th, a day before the first broadcast.

● Meeting of popular actors Lim Ji-yeon, Choo Young-woo, Kim Jae-won, and Yeonwoo

According to the production team, ‘Madam Ok‘s Tale’ will see actors Lim Ji-yeon, Choo Young-woo, Kim Jae-won, and Yeonwoo transform into characters with their own complicated stories. The four people who have established their own solid colors across genres will meet to complete the popular actor combination.

Im Ji-yeon will give an intense performance that will reveal the various aspects of the slave Gu Deok-i who lives as a fake Ok Tae-young, and Choo Young-woo will show off his unique expressiveness by playing two roles, from the electrician Cheon Seung-hwi to the eldest son of a noble family, Seong Yoon-gyeom. In addition, Kim Jae-won as the perfect master Seong Do-gyeom and Yeon-woo, who is drawing attention with her diverse acting, are anticipated to show the secret face of Cha Mi-ryeong.

● The runaway slave appears as a lady! A fraudulent drama about a woman who goes against her social status, or a drama about pioneering her destiny

Slave Gu Deok-i (played by Im Ji-yeon), who has endured the cruel abuse of her master while being looked down on as a lowly person, decides to run away so that she does not starve to death or get beaten to death, but rather grows old gracefully. However, while continuing her dangerous life of running away from the harsh reality, she coincidentally gets the chance to live the life of Ok Tae-young (played by Son Na-eun), the precious daughter of the Ok family.

It was a risky choice that went against the fate of a slave, but instead, she was able to demonstrate her innate intelligence and all kinds of talents that she had kept hidden because of her lowly status. Using her status and versatility as a noblewoman, she helps those in need, protects what she needs to protect, and accomplishes countless things that a slave could not do. Even though she deceived everyone, the independent steps of a female slave who forged her own destiny will resonate strongly.

● The meeting of a slave who became a lady and the eldest son of a prestigious family who became an electrician! True love blossoms amidst lies!

A heartbreaking love also blooms amidst the survival scam of the fake Ok Tae-young that seemed fierce. Song Seo-in, the eldest son of the Song family, who had a relationship when she was a slave, appears as Cheon Seung-hui, a heavenly warrior who has taken over the eight provinces of Joseon, and secretly tries to protect her. Attention is focused on what kind of story he has for the slave Gu Deok-i, whom he had a crush on, who is living dangerously undercover as a lady.

In this way, both the fake Ok Tae-young and Cheon Seung-hui live as if they are acting as other people while hiding their identities, but their feelings for each other are sincere without a single lie. Attention is focused on how this sad love will be portrayed in each dangerous day where their identities could be discovered and they could not avoid death.

‘Lady Ok’s Story’ will first air at 10:30 p.m. on the 30th.
