Actress Kim Hae-sook has expressed her affection for ‘Suspicious Woman’.
The new KBS 2TV Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Suspicious Woman’ (directed by Park Yong-soon/ written by Heo Seung-min), scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, December 18, is a romantic music growth drama about grandmother Oh Mal-soon who suddenly turns into a 20-year-old Oh Du-ri and enjoys her shining heyday once again.
Kim Hae-sook plays the role of K-grandmother Oh Mal-soon who suddenly turns into a 20-year-old herself and challenges her unfulfilled dream of becoming a singer. After a huge fight with her daughter Ban Ji-sook (played by Seo Young-hee), she leaves home and a series of eventful events unfolds for her.
On the 29th, a character poster hinting at Kim Hae-sook‘s exciting story was released, capturing attention. In the poster, her surprised face is stamped with the character for youth, leaving a deep impression. In particular, the phrase “A grandma outside but a girl at heart?!” shows that he is a young man at heart, and it makes people very curious about the character of Oh Mal-soon that Kim Hae-sook will portray.
Kim Hae-sook said the reason she chose ‘Miss Granny’ was “It was a piece that I really enjoyed watching in the movie. The fact that a piece that was so well-received by the audience was reinterpreted as a drama was really appealing to me.”.
