An unusual moment of meeting between Lim Ji-yeon and Chu Young-woo has been captured.

The production team of JTBC‘s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Madam Ok’s Tale’ (written by Park Ji-sook, directed by Jin Hyeok) released on the 30th a photo of the fake Ok Tae-young (played by Lim Ji-yeon) and the celestial electrician Cheon Seung-hwi (played by Chu Young-woo) facing each other in their real selves before they started living fake lives.

In the drama, the fake Ok Tae-young was a runaway slave named Gu Deok who ran away from the abuse of her master, but coincidentally ends up living the life of a nobleman‘s daughter. Cheon Seung-hwi also used to be the eldest son of a prestigious noble family, Song Seo-in. Attention is focused on how these two people with very different social statuses and circumstances came to be connected.

The photos released by the production team show the meeting between Gu Deok and Song Seo-in. There is a clear look of bewilderment on their faces as they face each other with an ominous air, and even a tense atmosphere flows.


Above all, Guduk is a slave, but he looks straight into the eyes of Song Seo-in, a nobleman, and shows off his unusual boldness, while Song Seo-in also looks at Guduk with a somewhat displeased look, stimulating curiosity about what on earth happened between them.

As attention is focused on the first meeting of Guduk and Song Seo-in, which shows more of a subtle war of nerves than a sad love, the story of Cheon Seung-hwi, the best lover in Joseon who is ready to give his life for the woman he loves, and the fake Ok Tae-young who will receive all of his love is even more anticipated.
