Singer DK (December) appeared on the ‘2024 Ballad War’ special of KBS 2TV ‘Immortal Songs’ on November 30th.

On that day, DK (December) revealed the behind-the-scenes story of his appearance, saying, “I got scolded by Huh Gak in many ways. He scratched my pride”, making everyone laugh. DK (December), who faced off against Huh Gak, showed his determination with a look full of ambition and confidently said, “There is no other episode where I want to win as much as today. I want to win”.

After that, DK (December) selected Lee Moon-sae‘s ‘Standing Under the Shade of Street Trees’, and delicately expressed the lonely mood of the song with a voice full of deep appeal and sincerity. He also conveyed even deeper emotions and lingering feelings with his perfect voice harmony along with the chorus.

DK (December)’s voice left the audience and the performers in the waiting room speechless. Lim Han-byeol praised her, saying, “It was a stage that showed what can happen when someone who is good at singing stands out and sings.”

After the stage, MC Shin Dong-yup said, “I can feel how much effort you put into this stage,” and DK (December) said, “I‘ve appeared many times, but today was the most nerve-wracking. I was even more nervous because I was in front of my colleagues and rivals.”

DK, who celebrates the 15th anniversary of her debut this year, has released songs such as ‘I’m Glad You Broke Up With Me’, ‘I‘ll Be a Star’, ‘I Always Love You’, ‘That Day, That Night’, ‘Please’, ‘Heart’, ‘Footsteps’, ‘Let’s Live Together’, and more, establishing herself as a vocalist who ‘you can trust and listen to’.

DK will be holding the 2024 December DK Christmas Concert ‘Winter DK-LAND’ on December 24th and 25th at the Sungshin Women‘s University Unjeong Green Campus Grand Auditorium in Seoul. DK plans to present a richer setlist and a high-quality stage for music fans who will be spending a page of December with them for two consecutive years.
