Go Soo jumps into the gambling ring himself to punish Woo Hyeon, who is committing parole corruption.
Episode 5 of tvN‘s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Parole Examiner Lee Han Shin’ (directed by Yoon Sang Ho, written by Park Chi Hyung), which aired on the 2nd, depicted Lee Han Shin (played by Go Soo) digging into corruption related to parole. Lee Han Shin carries out a detailed operation to punish the corrupt forces who are buying and selling parole seats with money.
.
Lee Han Shin, who was attacked in the last episode and collapsed bleeding, went to see Ji Dong Man (played by Song Young Chang), who instigated the attack, as soon as he was released from the hospital. Ji Dong Man found out that Lee Han Shin’s weakness was his senior prison guard Cheon Soo Beom (played by Cho Seung Youn) and threatened him. However, Lee Han-shin did not back down and declared, “I will go all the way.”
Meanwhile, detective Ahn Seo-yoon (played by Kwon Yu-ri) received a report of an attempted suicide and headed to Yonggul Industries. The person attempting the suicide was Yang Bok-gyu (played by Park No-sik), who had been released from prison on conditional parole and got a job at Yonggul Industries. Because of the stigma of being a criminal, he was falsely accused of stealing the luxury watch of company CEO Yong Jin-sang (played by Woo Hyun), and so he threw himself from the crane.
It turned out that Yang Bok-gyu had a connection to Lee Han-shin as well. When Lee Han-shin was a prison guard, he was a prisoner who had the will to start a new life for his son. So Lee Han-shin personally began investigating the Yang Bok-gyu case. During the investigation, Lee Han-shin found out that the company CEO Yong Jin-sang was a gambler based on his words and actions, and asked Choi Hwa-ran (Baek Ji-won) to set up a gambling table to bring Yong Jin-sang in.
Also, Ahn Seo-yoon continued to chase Choi Jeong-hak (Nam Min-woo), who was closely related to the Jimyeongseop case. Ahn Seo-yoon confirmed that Choi Jeong-hak‘s cell phone was turned on and went there. However, it was a trap set by the Ohjeong Group to catch Choi Jeong-hak. In the end, Choi Jeong-hak was hit in the head by Ohjeong Group’s Chief Secretary Son Eung-joon (Kim Young-woong), collapsed, and was dragged away.
After hearing that the gambling table had been set up, Yong Jin-sang called Professor Kim Nae-kyung (Kim Hye-hwa), one of the parole officers, to ask for money in order to secure the cash. Kim Nae-kyung and Yong Jin-sang were making money by selling conditional parole positions at Yonggul Industry, a correctional institution, and in the process, the background of framing Yang Bok-gyu in order to meet the quota was revealed. Lee Han-shin, who figured this out, began to plan to reveal the truth in earnest.
The operation began when Yong Jin-sang arrived at the gambling house, but he was no easy opponent. As a professional gambler, he noticed the players who had been put into the gambling table and kicked them out, nullifying the operation. When the plan went awry due to an unexpected variable, everyone panicked, and Lee Han-shin disguised himself as a gambler and jumped into the gambling table himself.
Why on earth did Lee Han-shin jump into the gambling table against Yong Jin-sang? Attention is being paid to whether his operation will be successful, revealing Yong Jin-sang‘s corruption and punishing his evil deeds.
Episode 6 of ‘Parole Judge Lee Han-shin’ will air at 8:50 PM on the 3rd.
