‘Because I‘m Solo’ captivated viewers with the honest solo life of Myung Se-bin and Yoon Se-ah.

The 6th episode of the SBS Plus·E Channel jointly produced entertainment show ‘Because I’m Solo’, which aired on the 3rd, showed Myung Se-bin going on her first solo trip to Yangyang, Gangwon-do. In addition, Yoon Se-ah visited singer and painter Solbi (Kwon Ji-an) to learn how to draw, which had been her childhood dream, and completed a passionate finger painting piece with the theme of ‘love’, making people laugh and sympathize at the same time. Viewers also sent enthusiastic support to the two ‘solo sisters‘ unadorned charm and honest story. Also, ‘Because I’m Solo’ proved its hot popularity by rising to the top 10 on OTT and decorating the main page of entertainment news on portal sites.

Myung Se-bin, who challenged her first solo trip in her life, bravely drove a camper van alone to Yangyang, Gangwon-do, the complete opposite of her princess-like and delicate image. Myung Se-bin arrived at the campsite and set up the equipment alone. Afterwards, while looking around the area, Myung Se-bin chatted with a man who had set up a nice tent and said, “(Only my camper van) looks lonely because there‘s no light”. The man readily offered to lend him his light, which made her excited. Meanwhile, Myung Se-bin’s close friend, actress Kang Rae-yeon, made a surprise guest appearance. Kang Rae-yeon, who happened to be nearby, saw Myung Se-bin‘s video of the Yangyang ocean on her SNS and contacted her, resulting in their ‘special meeting’. After happily hugging Kang Rae-yeon, Myung Se-bin started cooking a king crab dish weighing a whopping 3.8 kg. After many twists and turns, Myung Se-bin, who successfully completed the camping version of ‘Sebincasse’, also had a deep conversation with Kang Rae-yeon. “In my 30s, I had a hard time because I suddenly lost my job”, Myung Se-bin recalled, “I think my image as an actress was shattered because of the divorce. After happily finishing the art class, the two continued chatting while eating boiled chicken at Sol-bi‘s favorite restaurant. At this time, Yoon Se Ah answered Solbi’s question, “Don‘t you have a boyfriend?” by saying, “I haven’t been in a relationship for about 3~4 years. My last relationship was so hard that I was a little scared of loving.” Yoon Se Ah said, “I love my ex, but I broke up with him because I was obsessed, so it was hard to imagine a future together.” Shin Dong Yup sympathized with Yoon Se Ah‘s words, saying, “I almost lived my whole life in a prison called jealousy.”

Solbi also recalled her own eventful love story after Yoon Se Ah’s honest confession of her love life. She created a sense of empathy by self-disclosing the story of how she rejected a marriage proposal in the past due to the burden, and the story of her disappearance. While comforting Solbi, Yoon Se Ah also revealed her unexpected feelings by saying, “I want to have a new love in the future.” Yoon Se Ah continued, “I think I‘ve lived too quietly and carefully.
