The entertainment industry is reeling from the aftershocks of President Yoon Seok-yeol‘s declaration and lifting of martial law in the middle of the night. In this situation, attention is focused on whether tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’ (abbreviated as ‘You Quiz’) will air.

Initially, ‘You Quiz’ was scheduled to feature BLACKPINK‘s Rosé, who swept the music charts with ‘APT.’, on the broadcast on the 4th. However, the broadcast of Rosé’s appearance is uncertain. This is due to the declaration and lifting of martial law that occurred between the night of the 3rd and the early morning of the 4th. With some entertainment events being canceled and broadcast schedules suddenly changing, ‘You Quiz’ is currently discussing canceling the broadcast.

Regarding this, tvN is refraining from confirming specifics on whether or not to air the show. It seems that the final decision on whether to broadcast or not was made after internal discussions.

In the meantime, President Yoon Seok-yeol declared martial law at 10:23 PM on the 3rd. Afterwards, the National Assembly passed a resolution to lift martial law with the approval of all 190 members present at around 1 AM on the 4th. President Yoon Seok-yeol lifted martial law at around 4:30 AM on the same day, about 6 hours after declaring martial law.

Because of this, chaos has descended into various parts of the Republic of Korea. The political world, the economy, and popular culture are all recovering from the aftermath.
