Lee Min-ho is back.

He will meet viewers through tvN‘s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Ask the Stars’, which will air on January 4th next year.

The drama, which cost over 40 billion won to produce, depicts the extraterrestrial life of Eve (Gong Hyo-jin), a boss working in a zero-gravity space station, and Dinosaur (Lee Min-ho), an uninvited guest with a secret mission.

In the drama, Lee Min-ho plays Dinosaur, an obstetrician and gynecologist who stays in the space station for a few days as a space tourist.

Dinosaur is the prospective son-in-law of MZ Group, South Korea’s top conglomerate, who has strong convictions and pride and is full of loyalty and confidence. With his wedding just around the corner, he spends an astronomical amount of money to embark on a space tour.

He may seem like a leisurely wanderer on the outside, but he actually has a secret mission that he can‘t tell anyone.

In the photos released before the first broadcast, Lee Min-ho draws attention by transforming into a dinosaur character who has to do an impossible mission in space.

Lee Min-ho explained, “He’s a character who lives a very ordinary and normal life, but has his own beliefs and obsession with life that no one understands.” He continued, “I thought it was cute how he tried to do what he was given. His passion, honesty, and loyalty in front of life are not refined, but are expressed as they are,” and chose the character‘s charm as “purity.”

The reason he chose this drama as his comeback drama is, “These days, as the times change faster, aren’t we living in an era where what is good and what is important to humans is becoming increasingly blurred? That‘s why I was drawn to the story of people who feel the preciousness of life meeting against the backdrop of the purest and most unknown space called space,” he said, explaining that he felt warmth from the story of the work.
