Kim Min-jung is returning to work after a long time.

Channel A‘s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Check In Hanyang’ (written by Park Hyun-jin and directed by Myung Hyun-woo) is a youth romance historical drama that contains the story of Joseon’s largest guest house ‘Yongcheonru’, which has an arrogant motto of ‘The customer is king’, and the young Joseon people who join as educational servants there. Attention is being paid to what kind of freshness and fun the story will bring within the unique worldview of ‘Joseon-era hotel’.

Bae In-hyuk (as Lee Eun, Prince Muyeong), Kim Ji-eun (as Hong Deok-soo), Jung Gun-joo (as Cheon Jun-hwa), and Park Jae-chan (as Go Soo-ra) star. They each take on the roles of young servants who join Joseon‘s largest guest house and will show each character working towards their dreams. Actress Kim Min-jung will also make a special appearance as ‘Snow Mae-hwa’.

Seol Mae-hwa, played by Kim Min-jung, is the head of Yongcheonru, and plays a role similar to the general manager of a modern hotel who oversees all operations within the guesthouse. With firm leadership and an unrivaled dignity, Seol Mae-hwa is an absolute presence within the guesthouse, an object of respect for all servants, and someone they want to be like.

The production team released the Seol Mae-hwa character poster on the 5th. In the poster, Seol Mae-hwa shows off her elegance wearing a gorgeous red hanbok like a painting. Attention is being paid to what kind of presence Kim Min-jung’s unique aura as Seol Mae-hwa will have in the drama. In addition, the phrase, “Have you found me?” implicitly shows Seol Mae-hwa‘s absolute position within Yongcheonru. This hints at the relationship with Hong Deok-soo (played by Kim Ji-eun), who entered Yongcheonru with the goal of becoming a snow maiden.

‘Check In Hanyang’, which features a special appearance by Kim Min-jung, is scheduled to premiere on Saturday the 21st at 7:50 PM as a follow-up to ‘Marry YOU’.
