On the December 6th episode of KBS2‘s ‘New Release Convenience Store Restaurant’, the story of a courageous young man, Lee Chan-won, who is trying to repay the love he has received in any way he can will be revealed. Lee Chan-won decides to donate kimchi he made himself to the elderly who live alone. In the process, Lee Chan-won and his close friends Hwang Yoon-seong and Kim Joong-yeon, three MZ youths, are said to be taking on the challenge of making the largest kimchi ever, raising curiosity.

In the VCR that is revealed, Lee Chan-won moves all the mountain of delivery boxes in front of his house into the living room. What catches the eye at this time is the plastic that is densely covering the floor, sofa, TV, and other areas of the living room. This is a 28-year-old man, Lee Chan-won, who usually makes and eats kimchi at home, preparing a large kimchi.

Lee Chan-won said, “I am usually loved by many elderly people. I was looking for a way to repay them and thought, ‘What if I make kimchi with my sincerity and donate it?’” and explained the reason for preparing a large kimchi. Recently, Lee Chan-won made headlines by donating 100 million won to the underprivileged.

What awaited Lee Chan-won, who made this admirable decision, was endless labor to make a large kimchi. Although Lee Chan-won had previously prepared all kinds of vegetables and seasonings himself, it was still difficult for him to make 60 bundles of 240 kimchi by himself. In the end, Lee Chan-won called his close friend Hwang Yoon-seong. After a while, Hwang Yoon-seong and Kim Joong-yeon visited Lee Chan-won‘s house without knowing anything about it, and they also unexpectedly got involved in making a large amount of kimchi, which made everyone laugh.
