Lee Min-ki and Han Ji-hyun light the spark to track down the case.
The 10th episode of KBS2‘s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Face Me’ (directed by Jo Rok-hwan/written by Hwang Ye-jin) on the 5th will depict the struggles of Cha Jung-woo (played by Lee Min-ki) and Lee Min-hyung (played by Han Ji-hyun) to uncover the truth behind the incident from 7 years ago.
In the previous 9th episode, the scene where the police went to Jung-woo’s house to arrest him after Jung-woo‘s DNA was found on the bloodstains on the watch, which was evidence of the incident from 7 years ago, added tension and excitement as the ratings soared to 3.5% (based on nationwide households, provided by Nielsen Korea).
In the broadcast that day, Jung-woo voluntarily turns himself in to the police station, shaking up the course of the case. Jung-woo also goes to find his dead girlfriend Yoon Hye-jin’s (played by Ha-young) cell phone, which he received from his mother Yoon Seo-hee (played by Yang So-min). With this, another piece of evidence has been added, and curiosity is growing about the contents of the cell phone that Jung-woo handed over, which could be the key to solving the case.
Meanwhile, Jung-woo‘s acquaintances are also suspects. Jung-woo’s friend Han Woo-jin (played by Lee Yi-kyung), the director of the same hospital, Kim Seok-hoon (played by Jeon Bae-soo), and his mother Seo-hee all appear at the police station. The three of them approach the situation with a relaxed attitude, while Min-hyung and his fellow detective Seo Kang-ho (played by Lee Seung-woo) who are interrogating them are on edge. Curiosity is also growing as to how the three of them are connected to the case from 7 years ago, and why they have been summoned.
In particular, Min-hyung does not easily let go of his suspicions that the real culprit is someone Jung-woo knows, given the connection between Jung-woo, Hye-jin, and the dead Nam Ki-taek (played by Park Wan-kyu). As Min-hyung predicted, the person who has been hovering around Jung-woo is pointed out as the culprit, and attention is focused on whether this will bring about a dramatic reversal.
In addition, Jung-woo, who has been suffering from the suspicion that he is the culprit, decides to actively find the culprit. Also, he begins to find pieces of his lost memories through hypnosis treatment with Min-hyung. Attention is focused on whether Jung-woo will be able to remember the face of the real culprit from 7 years ago and prepare a foundation for a comeback.
The production team of ‘Face Me’ said, “Episode 10 will explode with tension and anxiety as Jung-woo gets one step closer to finding the truth behind the death of his girlfriend 7 years ago.”Please look forward to the main broadcast that will contain an increasingly intense battle of wits between Jung-woo, Min-hyung, and the real culprit.”
Episode 10 of ‘Face Me’ will air at 9:50 p.m. on the 5th (today).
