Yoo Yeon-seok is in a desperate situation.
In episode 5 of MBC‘s Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Phone Call You’re Dialing Now’ (planned by Kwon Sung-chang/ directed by Park Sang-woo, Wi Deuk-gyu/ written by Kim Ji-woon/ produced by Bon Factory, Baram Pictures), which airs on the afternoon of the 6th, Baek Sa-eon (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) is in danger of a car accident while on the phone with his wife Hong Hee-joo (played by Chae Soo-bin), who is disguised as a blackmailer.
In the previous episode, Sa-eon caused excitement by revealing to people for the first time that Hong Hee-joo is his wife in order to protect her. He revealed his hidden true feelings to Hee-joo, who was disguised as a blackmailer, by saying, “Hee-joo is not an appendix or anything, but a completely new language. Please don‘t talk nonsense about my wife.” In particular, the ending scene of the two people facing each other with their ears pressed against each other’s cell phones stirred up curiosity about whether Sa-eon realized that the blackmailer 406 was Hee-joo.
In the meantime, on the day of the original broadcast (6th), a still cut of Sa-eon facing a desperate situation as a mysterious car rushes in was released.
At 10 PM, Sa-eon, who was on the phone with the blackmailer, suddenly stops in the face of the car‘s headlights. He was standing defenseless when the car suddenly came running. The tension of the scene, which can be felt even through the still cut, makes your palms sweat and makes you curious about the identity of the car that threatens Sa-eon’s life.
Meanwhile, Hee-joo, who was talking to her husband on the blackmail phone, witnesses Sa-eon‘s accident right before it happens. She rushes to save Sa-eon who is in danger. Sa-eon is surprised to see Hee-joo suddenly appear, but is confused by her actions for a moment. Attention is focused on the original broadcast to see how Hee-joo reacted to the shock Sa-eon received.
Episode 5 of MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Call You Just Dialed’ will be extended by 10 minutes and will air today (the 6th) at 9:40 p.m.
