Channel A cancels ‘Current Parenting - My Precious Child’.

Channel A announced, ‘My Precious Child’, which was scheduled to air today (the 6th) at 8:10 PM, has been canceled due to a special news report. We ask for your generous understanding for the sudden cancellation issue.

Earlier, at around 10:25 PM on the 3rd, President Yoon Seok-yeol made an emergency national address at the Blue House in Yongsan and announced, “Martial law is declared in order to eradicate pro-North Korean forces and protect the free constitutional order.”.

In response, the National Assembly passed a resolution to lift martial law with the unanimous approval of all 190 members present at around 1 AM on the 4th. The Office of the Speaker of the National Assembly said, “With the passage of the resolution to lift martial law, the declaration of martial law is invalid.”

Afterwards, President Yoon announced at around 4:30 AM on the 4th, “We will accept the National Assembly’s request through the State Council and lift martial law.”

Accordingly, broadcasting stations including terrestrial and comprehensive programming channels decided to cancel various dramas and entertainment programs and broadcast special news reports to deliver news related to the martial law.
