Comedian Jo Hye-ryun and content creator Woo Ja-ka (Woo Eun-bin) will appear on MBC‘s ‘Heart-pounding Lecturers’ (hereafter ‘Lecturers’) and give moving lectures.
Jo Hye-ryun heated up the studio atmosphere from the moment she appeared, singing her hit song ‘Anakana’ live and showing off her passionate performance. She looked back on the unhappiness she felt when comparing herself to her fellow comedians, such as Park Mi-sun and Jang Do-yeon, and the past when she tormented herself, and honestly confessed, “Now that I think about it, I tormented myself too much.”
She especially confessed her complicated feelings of hating her mother and not being able to love her, as she revealed her painful past when she was born as a daughter who should not have been born and was hated by her mother. Her appearance shedding tears while listening to an audio message sent by her mother during the lecture moved the studio.
Ujaka shared her experience of undergoing surgery to remove two-fifths of her skull due to an unexpected accident. She shared her story of communicating with the world through her rehabilitation process and YouTube activities that she started to overcome her pain, and conveyed her sincere desire to give courage. Although she made some word mistakes due to the aftereffects of having 95% of her left brain damaged, she successfully finished the lecture with positive energy.
Cho Hye-ryun and Ujaka’s heartfelt lecture can be seen tonight (the 8th) at 9:10 PM on MBC‘s ‘Lecturers’.
