‘Hot Soles of My Feet’, which will touch your heart with deep familial love, will mark the end of ‘KBS Drama Special 2024’.

The KBS 2TV Tuesday drama ‘Hot Soles of My Feet: Drama Special 2024’ (directed by Lee Jin-ah, written by Han Bom) airing on the 10th is a healing growth drama that unfolds as Haneul, a high school student with a reclusive, lonely older sister, begins a plan to help her older sister escape from her room.

Oh Ye-joo plays Yoo Ha-neul, who has a father who is on a long-term business trip and a reclusive older sister, and Kim Kang-min plays Kim Yang, a classmate who has a crush on Ha-neul. The father of sisters Haneul and Noeul, Yoo Cheol-yong, is played by Park Ho-san, and Yang Eui-jin plays Haneul‘s older sister and Cheol-yong’s eldest daughter, Yoo No-eul.

Oh Ye-joo, Kim Kang-min, Park Ho-san, and Yang Eui-jin will present deep familial love through ‘The Soles of My Feet Are Hot’, through the pain of a family having to watch their loved ones become isolated in despair and the process of moving their soles hotly to get closer to each other.

Noeul (played by Yang Eui-jin), who became a reclusive loner due to school violence three years ago, becomes isolated in despair. Her younger sister Haneul (played by Oh Ye-joo) takes care of her older sister alone in place of her father Cheol-yong (played by Park Ho-san), who is often away from home on long-term business trips. One day, while checking on her sister‘s life and death every day, Haneul decides to go see her best friend who moved to Jeju Island. No-eul’s daily life, which had been cut off from the world and surviving each day, begins to crack due to her sister‘s knocking on the door.

Kim Yang (played by Kim Kang-min), who had a crush on Haneul, adds to the fun of the play with his passionate courtship and bizarre plotting. While suffering because of Haneul, she gets an unexpected opportunity when her family moves in as tenants in her house. Haneul, who needs travel expenses, works part-time as a puppeteer at a cafe run by Kim Yang’s mother, and while she gets her feet wet, she also faithfully carries out her plan to get her sister to change. Just when everything was going well, suspicious movement is caught in her sister‘s previously quiet room. Indeed, attention is focused on whether the trip to Jeju Island, where Sky dreamed of liberation, will be a success.
