Gwangsoo → Youngho → Oksoon → Hyunsook… 23rd season, serial crying incident (I‘m solo)
On the SBS Plus and ENA real dating program ‘I’m SOLO’ that airs on the afternoon of the 11th, the second half of the romance unfolds as Kwangsoo, Youngho, Oksoon, and Hyunsook of the 23rd generation shed tears for their own reasons.
On this day, Kwangsoo is unable to hide his pain when Oksoon, who has been straightforward with him until now, begins to distance herself from him. He confides in the other single men about his frustration, and Youngho calls Kwangsoo out for a walk and continues their deep conversation. Youngho starts off by saying, “Actually, when I was young, I suppressed my emotions and lived”, and then makes an analogy by saying, “Emotions are like the ocean. You‘re saying that the waves in the ocean don’t crash as I want them to”, before suddenly bursting into tears. Gwang-soo takes out the handkerchief he had previously shed tears in and hands it to Young-ho. Afterwards, he says, “I don’t know how to express it (to Ok-soon),” and they cry together.
At the moment when Gwang-soo is sobbing and thinking about Ok-soon, Ok-soon suddenly lets out a sigh, “Ugh.” Young-sook asks with concern, “Why are you sighing?” and Ok-soon seems to suppress her emotions for a moment, then confesses, “I’ve never begged (from others) to like me…” and bursts into tears. Ok-soon then reveals her complicated feelings, saying, “I’m just a little tired.”
Hyun-sook, known as the “23rd Generation Romance Safe Asset,” also joins the “Tear Family.” After finishing her date, Hyun-sook says meaningfully during an interview with the production crew, “I don‘t think anything will be resolved just by talking to (Young-ho)”. Hyun-sook eventually explains, “I didn’t want to put it off” and starts shedding tears. The public is curious to find out why Hyun-sook, whose romance was going smoothly, suddenly had a change of heart.
