‘Secret of a Celebrity Soldier’ covers the story of Elvis Presley.

‘Secret of a Celebrity Soldier’ is South Korea‘s first ‘medical storytelling’ entertainment show that delves into the secret life, aging, illness, and death of celebrities.

The main character of the first episode of ‘Secret of a Celebrity Soldier’ is none other than the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, who captivated the world. On August 16, 1977, Elvis Presley passed away suddenly at the young age of 42. Elvis Presley, who had been seen going out with a bright face the day before, was found dead in the bathroom of his mansion, Graceland, located in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. At the time, the cause of death was announced as cardiac arrest, but his death still remains a mystery.



Lee Chan-won, Jang Do-yeon, Mi-yeon, and Lee Nak-jun of the YouTube channel Doctor Friends, which has 1.26 million subscribers, gathered to dig into the mystery of Elvis Presley’s death.

The 4MCs, along with forensic pathologist Professor Na Ju-young, who appeared as an expert panelist, meticulously analyzed Elvis Presley‘s autopsy and medical data to delve into the mystery of why Elvis died in a strange position in the bathroom. In particular, Professor Na Ju-young’s unexpected conclusion about the identity of the ‘red thread’ found in the mouth of the deceased Elvis surprised everyone.



Meanwhile, MC Lee Chan-won transforms into ‘Chan-beom Presley’ by perfectly singing Elvis‘s hit songs, saying that his father, who was an avid Elvis fan, always sang them when he was young. On the other hand, Lee Chan-won, who confessed that he suffered from sleep disorders due to his busy schedule of having to perform thirty events in one month last year, is said to have deeply sympathized with Elvis Presley’s pain, causing the set to be quiet.

Certified storyteller Jang Do-yeon, who is recognized for her natural wit and warm empathy, and social studies genius ‘Chan-to-wiki’ Lee Chan-won displayed ‘sibling chemistry’ that could not be hidden despite it being their first time working together. The two MCs who will be active as KBS‘s son and daughter are expected to have a ‘trustworthy’ storytelling.



(G)I-DLE’s Miyeon, who debuted as the first fixed MC through ‘Secret of a Celebrity Soldier’, expressed her affection for the program, saying, “It‘s a program I would have definitely watched even if I hadn’t been a guest’. Miyeon, who never holds back on her curiosity, ‘Question Stone’, mainly receives her barrage of questions from ‘Doctor Friends’ Lee Nak-joon. In particular, what Miyeon paid attention to was the 20 kg ‘it’ that was inside Elvis Presley‘s body. The identity of ‘it’ that could have been the cause of Elvis’ death will be revealed on the broadcast.

On this day‘s broadcast, ‘Cooking Idol’ Yoon Nam-no, who received much love for ‘Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War’, came out to provide support for the first broadcast. Yoon Nam-no, who made the sandwich that Elvis actually enjoyed, arouses curiosity about the identity of the Elvis sandwich by saying, “This is a style that even I have a hard time digesting.”.



‘Secret of Celebrity Soldiers’, the first medical storytelling program in Korea, learns about the world of disease and medicine through the deaths of historical figures and modern-day celebrities. It will provide viewers with a new experience by crossing over world history, science, and humanities related to celebrities.

‘The Secret of Celebrity Soldiers’ will first air on KBS2TV at 8:30 PM on Tuesday, December 10.
