Mnet‘s ‘Couple Palace 2’ has confirmed its first broadcast in February next year and released a teaser video.

‘Couple Palace’ is a large-scale couple matching survival show for single men and women looking for their perfect marriage partner. The first season, which aired in January of this year, honestly revealed the conditions of marriage that are in line with reality, and garnered attention for its matching system that is no less than a ‘marriage information agency’, which is unusual for a variety show.

‘Couple Palace’ produced a total of 12 couples, setting an all-time matching record for dating programs, and especially garnered enthusiastic responses from female viewers in their 30s when Season 1 was aired, taking a meaningful first step as realistic and relatable content. Even after the end, ‘Couple Palace’ was nominated for the Studio Entertainment category of the ‘Rose d’Or Awards 2024’, a TV and audio program awards ceremony hosted by the European Broadcasting Union, and received attention overseas. ‘Couple Palace’ is the only Korean work nominated in this category this year.


With the support of many, ‘Couple Palace’ has already confirmed the production of Season 2, and attention is focused on the next direction of the show. Mnet has confirmed the first broadcast of ‘Couple Palace 2’ in February next year and has officially kicked off Season 2 by releasing the first teaser video on the 11th.

The first thing that catches the eye in the ‘Couple Palace 2’ teaser video released on the 11th is the appearance of the three MCs (Kim Jong-kook, Yoo Se-yoon, and Mi-joo). The three who led the stable hosting of Season 1 with their veteran wit will once again work together for ‘Couple Palace 2’.

At the end of the teaser video, Kim Jong-kook and Mi-joo show their extraordinary passion for learning by saying, “I’ll watch it with the mindset of studying,” and even Yoo Se-yoon, known as the only married one of the three MCs, makes everyone burst into laughter by expressing his intention to join by saying, “Well, for now,” With their signature sophistication and cheerful banter, attention is focused on the performances of Kim Jong-guk, Yoo Se-yoon, and Mi-joo, who will lead ‘Couple Palace 2’.
