Actress Yoo In-na recalled a past when she was used for romance phishing.

On the 10th, a video titled ‘[Love In-na] Haven‘t We Met Each Other Before? | This Month’s Male Lead Park Jung-min’ was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Yoo In-na Radio’.

Guest Park Jung-min answered Yoo In-na‘s question, “Have you ever met someone special?”, “I met a woman before, and it wasn’t a blind date, but we met and talked, and we saw a performance on the same day and at the same time. The play lasts for about 2-3 months, and it was one day out of that.“

She continued, “It was a performance a few years ago. Something special happened at the performance. She said she saw the performance too. I felt like it was fate, but it wasn‘t fate. It was a coincidence.”

Yoo In-na replied, “Something really strange happened to me. It was a really long time ago. In my early 20s. I was working at a cafe when a man came by and said, ’Hye-young.‘ When I said, ’I‘m not Hye-young,’ he said, ‘You’re Hye-young.‘ Isn’t that scary? I said, ‘I’m not the real Hye-young, my name is In-na.‘ (Sighs) Was it a flip phone? It was a long time ago. He was showing me all of my pictures.“

He continued, ”They were my pictures. When I wondered what was going on, I found out that some woman had taken all of my pictures from Cyworld and told this man the story about my pictures. But it didn’t stop there. It was romance phishing. He even borrowed money.“

He said, ”I think it was 1 million or 2 million won. At the time, it was a lot of money. I said, ‘This isn’t me. Go check out my Cyworld. Here are all the pictures’ When I did this, (the man) said to Hye-young, ‘Hey, I really met the person in these pictures and I‘m going to report you,’ Then she contacted me and the issue was resolved by paying me back the money”, sharing an episode.

She continued, “Isn’t it so amazing? Of course it was a bad thing, but it remains an episode in my life even after a very long time. It‘s really amazing”.
