‘Teacher Eo-nam’ Ryu Soo-young is adding heat to the ‘cooking craze’ in the broadcasting industry.

With his outstanding cooking skills, he has gained huge popularity by hosting various entertainment shows and appearing as a lecturer, and he is showing his extraordinary passion for cooking in his new program.

Ryu Soo-young will appear on the new tvN program ‘A Unique Meal in History’ (A Meal in History), which will air from the 12th, and go on a culinary journey. ‘A Meal in History’ is an educational entertainment program with the concept of the first ‘historical mukbang’.

He will look for the ‘foods of life’ that important figures in history ate at important moments with Choi Tae-sung, a star instructor of Korean history called ‘Big Star Teacher’, and actress Yura, and they will recreate them.

It seems that the fun of listening and watching will increase at the same time by adding the hidden backstory in history and the most interesting subject, food.

As he is considered the ‘Star of Chefs’ who boasts 1 million views every time he reveals super-easy recipes such as ‘1,000 Won Recipes’, ‘One Pan Dishes’ on various broadcasts and YouTube, he plans to show off his extensive knowledge of food in this program as well.

In particular, the ‘Mr. Eo-nam Ryu Soo-young‘s 1,000 Won Breakfast’ episode of the KBS 2TV entertainment program ‘Newly Launched Convenience Store Restaurant’ was selected as the ‘Good Program of the Month’ in the terrestrial TV category by the Korea Communications Standards Commission, drawing much attention.

Ryu Soo-young emphasized the special charm of Korean food through a teaser video released before the first broadcast, saying, “From luxurious food that shows the majesty of the king to food that comforted the lives of commoners, everything will be revealed.”

He plans to continue the momentum by appearing in Season 2 of SBS’s ‘Jungle Bob’, scheduled to air in the first half of next year, and spread Korean food culture overseas.
