Lee Min-ki and Lee Yi-kyung got into a fierce fight.
On the 11th episode of KBS2‘s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Face Me’ (directed by Jo Rok-hwan/written by Hwang Ye-jin), a bloody fight took place between Cha Jung-woo (played by Lee Min-ki) and Han Woo-jin (played by Lee Yi-kyung).
In the broadcast that day, Nam Hyo-joo (played by Choi Jung-woon) perfectly remembered that Woo-jin was the one who targeted her and killed her father, Nam Ki-taek (played by Park Wan-kyu). Kim Seok-hoon (played by Jeon Bae-soo) also took an antagonistic stance after finding out that Woo-jin was not on the list of attendees at the Singapore academic conference, and as they escalated their argument, Woo-jin showed an inferiority complex toward Jung-woo, which was pitiful.
In the meantime, Jung-woo met Woo-jin who was coming out of the fencing gym collecting the crime weapons and mercilessly swung his sword and launched a sharp attack. Woo-jin said that it was all because of Jung-woo’s mother, Seo-hee, and handed over a few photos. The photos showed Seo-hee heading somewhere to bribe someone, which raised questions.
After that, Jung-woo went to see his friend and lawyer, Park Chae-kyung (played by Kang Da-hyun), and began to closely examine the photos from the investigative records from the time of Hye-jin‘s accident. After seeing this, Jung-woo was convinced that something else had happened before she hit her head and was stabbed, and that it was not an accidental death as Woo-jin had claimed.
Min-hyung also saw Hye-jin’s photos at the National Forensic Service just like Jung-woo and came to the same conclusion. And when the forensic team leader said that there was another target of the murder, that it was overkill (excessive violence beyond the intended purpose), Min-hyung thought of Jung-woo and Seo-hee and started to chase after them.
In the meantime, Woo-jin kidnapped Seo-hee and called Jung-woo to the hospital. Woo-jin tied Seo-hee up on the operating table, and created anxiety by putting anesthesia in a syringe and fiddling with the scalpel. A while later, Jung-woo and Woo-jin met in the hospital lobby and continued their heated confrontation. Woo-jin expressed his anger, saying that he had gone to save Hye-jin seven years ago and that Seo-hee had planned to get rid of her, but Jung-woo was furious and kept punching her.
At the end of the broadcast, Jung-woo was shocked to see Seo-hee lying bleeding, and he was confused as he clearly remembered that Woo-jin was the culprit in Hye-jin‘s past murder. Soon, Jung-woo knocked Woo-jin down and grabbed a scalpel to strangle him. Jung-woo held the scalpel close to Woo-jin’s neck, and as soon as Min-hyung arrived, blood splattered on Woo-jin‘s face, foreshadowing that the situation had reached an extreme.
In this way, in the 11th broadcast, Jung-woo, who was present at the scene of the crime seven years ago, and Hyo-joo, who was almost murdered, regained their memories, confirming that Woo-jin was the culprit in all these incidents. With only one episode left until the final broadcast, attention is focused on how Jung-woo and Min-hyung’s case investigation will end.
The final episode of KBS 2TV‘s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Face Me’ will air at 9:50 p.m. on the 12th (today).
