In the drama, Nam Joo-hyuk transforms into Goo-cheon, a character who travels between the ‘Ghost World’. Goo-cheon, who possesses the ability to kill ghosts with a sword, is a character who infiltrates the palace to solve strange incidents that occur in the royal family, and faces an unimaginable world of darkness.
Noh Yoon-seo plays Ginger, a court lady born with the ability to hear ghosts. Ginger uses her ability, which she believes to be a lifelong curse, to uncover the secrets of the palace with Goo-cheon.
Jo Seung-woo, an actor who needs no additional modifiers, is expected to firmly hold the center of the play. The king played by Jo Seung-woo is a character who secretly calls in Goocheon and Ginger to lift the curse that has settled in the palace. Although he carries out good deeds, attention is also focused on Jo Seung-woo’s passionate performance that will densely portray the complex side of the king who also has deep darkness behind him.
