Ha Yeon-soo, who left for Japan, has explained her gravure pictorial.
Ha Yeon-soo appeared on the MBC entertainment program ‘Radio Star’ that aired on the afternoon of the 11th and opened up about the gravure pictorial that became a hot topic during her activities in Japan.
When asked ‘While you were promoting in Japan, was there any controversy in Korea?’ Ha Yeon-soo answered, “At the beginning of our activities, there were pages in Japanese manga magazines that featured actors and idols. We usually refer to those printed terms as ‘gravure’.””.
She continued, “In Japan, they just really took pictorials and published a few pages”. “Korean sentiment is now ingrained in that way. In Japan, even if everyone is just wearing casual clothes, they call it a ‘glyph’ interview, he explained.
Ha Yeon-soo said, “We‘re just approaching it as a pictorial,” and “That’s how it‘s usually done in Japan. But then an article came out (in Korea). At first, I didn’t like it, it was so unfair.”
Ha Yeon-soo also emphasized, “I think it was consumed like that, but I really wanted to take this opportunity to say that‘s not true.”
Meanwhile, Ha Yeon-soo also opened up about rumors of her retirement. Ha Yeon-soo said, “Anyway, I was going to leave (for Japan) and not be in Korea. I actually don’t like being noticed (by people), so I deleted my (portal site) profile. But there was chaos because it was retirement,” he explained, adding, “They haven’t restored it yet.”
