The group BADVILLAIN appeared on MBC M‘s ‘Weekly Idol’ on the 11th and showed off their refreshing energy with the unique charms of the seven members.
The show began with an ‘Sudden Dance Declaration’. BADVILLAIN appeared with choreography that was flexible yet powerful and had a great groove. When it was their turn to appear with their choreography teacher and dancer Kani, they had a great time on stage together, signaling a pleasant start.
In the ‘Weekly Relay N Questions N Answers’ corner that followed, we had time to get to know BADVILLAIN in earnest. ‘My own dance secret weapon’, ‘Who had the strongest first impression’, etc. Various questions followed, and when asked ‘The person who loves themselves the most’, Chloe Young confidently chose herself and was ultimately chosen as the member who answered most honestly in all her answers, making everyone laugh.
Next, they were divided into two teams, Bad (Chloe Young, Kelly, Emma, Yoonseo) and Villains (Bin, Ina, Huey, Kanye), and competed in a quiz. In ‘Catch Up! Writer’, where they had to guess the song title after watching a given choreography video, both teams showed their keen insight and answered the questions correctly, and when the Bad team failed the double-speed dance penalty, they were kicked out of the studio for the first time ever, making the set burst into laughter.
In particular, the highlight corner of ‘Weekly Idol’, ‘Match Up! In ‘Weekly Karaoke’, they caught everyone’s attention by performing exciting dance genre songs such as Rosé‘s ‘APT.’, VIVIZ’s ‘MANIAC’, CL‘s ‘Mental Breakdown’, and BIGBANG’s ‘Bang Bang Bang’. Badvillain‘s overflowing energy livened up the excitement and created a festive atmosphere, providing plentiful fun.
Lastly, Badvillain said, “It was really fun! I’m so grateful that all the members were having a great time on ‘Weekly Idol’, which I had only seen on TV, and I‘m so grateful for leading them well!”, completing a warm ending.
Badvillain recently released the digital single ‘ZOOM’ and have been actively appearing on various music shows, radio, and entertainment shows. As they made a comeback with the ambition to become artists who break free from the mold created by the world and cross standards and lines, they proved their overwhelming performance and musical ability, garnering much attention throughout their activities.
