KBS2‘s new weekend drama ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers’ has revealed the golden lineup of the five brothers.
Scheduled to air for the first time in February 2025, KBS2’s new weekend drama ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers’ (directed by Choi Sang-yeol / written by Koo Hyun-sook) is a well-made family drama about the five unique brothers of the ‘Eagle Brewery’, who have continued the long tradition, and the eldest sister-in-law who becomes the head of the household after ten days of marriage due to her husband‘s sudden death.
The lead lineup of actors Uhm Ji-won and Ahn Jae-wook was previously revealed, raising expectations, and actors Lee Pil-mo, Choi Dae-chul, Kim Dong-wan, Yoon Park, and Lee Seok-ki have added to the solidity of the drama by revealing the group of the Five Eagle Brothers.
Lee Pil-mo plays the eldest son of the ‘Eagle Brewery’, Oh Jang-soo, who is kind, honest, and sincere. He is a character who has a clearer opinion and tenacity than anyone else when it comes to making alcohol, and he follows the principles. Jang-soo, who worked as a brewer and supported his younger siblings, was unable to get married until late in life, and then met his destined partner Ma Kwang-sook (played by Uhm Ji-won) and got married. It makes one wonder what kind of relationship Lee Pil-mo will have with Uhm Ji-won and what kind of fresh episodes they will present.
The second son Oh Cheon-soo in ‘The Eagle Brewery’ is played by Choi Dae-chul. Oh Cheon-soo is a man of few words and has a personality that does not express his feelings well. Ten years ago, when his daughter Yeong-ju went abroad to study early, his wife also left him and he began living as a wild goose. Oh Cheon-soo, who was doing his best as the head of the household, is shocked when he hears unexpected news from his wife. Expectations are high for Choi Dae-chul’s acting, which will portray the character of Oh Cheon-soo, who has lived a turbulent life, with his own unique personality.
Kim Dong-wan plays the third son Oh Heung-soo in ‘The Eagle Brewery’. Oh Heung-soo is a cheerful, witty, and humorous person. He is popular with the ladies because of his sharp jokes that hit and run at the right time, and he spends everything he earns, which makes him a total show-off. He is happiest when he is dancing, and he was fired from his job as a backup dancer. He currently teaches broadcast dance and Zumba at a cultural center. Attention is also focused on Kim Dong-wan‘s excellent acting, who will portray the stylish and eloquent character of Oh Heung-soo.
On the other hand, Yoon Park plays the role of Oh Beom-soo, a blue chip in the ‘EagleSwordsman’ who grew up with high expectations that he would support his family. Oh Beom-soo is a model student among model students, a perfect hottie with a good personality and good speaking skills. He is rational, logical, cool-headed, and has strong self-esteem. Beom-soo, who went to study abroad with a full scholarship from Stanford University in the United States, returns home after being hired as a professor at a prestigious private university in Seoul. However, just as he was on a roll, an unexpected situation unfolds in front of him, adding to the tension and suspense of the drama.
Lastly, the youngest son of ‘Eagle Breeder’, Oh Kang-soo, is played by Lee Seok-ki. Oh Kang-soo is warm, neat, and polite, with a personality that is flawless. Having served as a UDT elite agent non-commissioned officer, he is a natural soldier when he wears his uniform, but he shows off his cute and unexpected charm when he changes into civilian clothes. There is a lot of interest in how he will captivate viewers with his diverse appearances in his first weekend home theater through this drama.
The production team of ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers’ said, “The five brothers, each with their own stories, gather in one house centered around Ma Kwang-sook. The story of their eventful lives will enrich the play and be responsible for the fun,” he said, adding, “Please watch the passionate acting of the five people: Lee Pil-mo, Choi Dae-chul, Kim Dong-wan, Yoon Park, and Lee Seok-ki.”
Director Choi Sang-yeol of ‘Pure Boxer’, ‘Drama Special - Hee-soo’, ‘Thief’s Sleep’, and writer Koo Hyeon-sook of ‘The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop’, ‘The Legendary Witch’, ‘A Hundred Year Legacy’, have teamed up for KBS 2TV‘s new weekend drama ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers’, the sequel to ‘Iron Family’, and it is scheduled to premiere in February 2025.
