Coupang Play‘s entertainment show ‘University War’ has proven its popularity by quickly confirming the production of Season 3 two episodes before the airing of the final episode of Season 2.

On the 18th, Coupang Play announced, “‘University War’ has confirmed the production of Season 3 due to the enthusiastic response to Season 2 and the hot support of viewers who wish for a long-term season system.‘University War’ is a 100% reality brain battle survival show where the top 1% of true geniuses from the best prestigious universities in Korea compete using only their brains. ‘University War’ has currently aired 6 episodes and is heading into the latter half of Season 2. It took the spotlight as soon as it opened, taking first place in popularity in the first week of its airing.

If the previous ‘UniversityWar’ Season 1 opened a splendid prelude to brain-logical survival by joining the world’s most prestigious university, Harvard, in the so-called ‘SeoKapoYeonGo’, Season 2 is unfolding an upgraded narrative on a global scale by joining Oxford and MIT in the brain hierarchy reorganized as ‘SeoGoYeonKapo’. Season 3 is garnering much attention as it is predicted to return with even more upgraded rules and participants with overwhelming intelligence compared to Season 2, which returned with ‘the highest level of difficulty ever’.

Season 3 is expected to be even fiercer than Season 2, starting with the competition to participate.
