Episode 15 of tvN STORY ‘Passport Holding Back Smashing’, which will air on the 18th, continues the realistic parenting journey of a lovely global family of three: Polish model Victoria Jung, her grandmother, mother, and 22-year-old younger sister.
According to the production team, younger sister Mia started the morning crying because she couldn‘t sleep due to mosquito bites. Victoria quickly calmed her whining sister down by attaching her skin pad to it, causing the studio to erupt in admiration. Next, she not only presents a heartwarming image with her mother Monica like sisters, but also catches everyone’s attention by revealing her model-specific OOTD and makeup process. The four mothers-to-be, all decked out in makeup, visit a cooking studio with Yoo Jeong-im, the only Korean kimchi master and the 38th Korean food master. They learn how to make kimchi for their grandmother Halina, a kimchi fanatic, and their mother Monica. After the kimchi class, the family tasted the fresh kimchi and old kimchi that the master brought himself and talked about the different fermentation periods of each kimchi. The family then challenged themselves to try fermented skate, which even Koreans find difficult. Viewers are curious to see if they will succeed in their first ever fermented skate mukbang.
On their next trip, Victoria‘s family goes to meet the friends Victoria made in Korea. While Mia and Kim Sung-joo from the studio are shocked by the impressions of their unique friends, they hear the warm stories of those who help each other and live together. Also, when DinDin sees the affectionate certification shot of Victoria and her boyfriend on the screen, he says, “We’re just friends, so why are you taking a selfie?” and makes everyone laugh by turning on the love line radar. When Victoria‘s mother and friends follow each other’s SNS accounts and start talking, a discussion about parents looking at their children‘s SNS accounts breaks out in the studio. As a parent, Kim Sung-joo and Mrs. Kim Pan-rye keep looking at it because they are always anxious and worried. Upon hearing this, DinDin is startled by his father’s SNS activity and asks, “Does my dad do it too?” and makes everyone laugh, while Jang Young-ran stimulates curiosity by making the studio burst into laughter by saying that her mother-in-law gives her special advice after seeing her SNS.
In the middle of a smooth schedule, Mia suddenly starts throwing a tantrum and DinDin, whose patience is running out, asks, “What do I do in that situation?” Kim Sung-joo replies, “You have to be patient to be a father,” and DinDin‘s mother, Mrs. Kim Pan-rye, supports her by saying, “That’s why you have to have a child to become an adult.” Meanwhile, Victoria shows off her parenting skills by calming down Mia‘s tantrums with just one word, and Mia’s cute appearance as she falls into the biggest dilemma of her 34-month life when things don‘t go her way is foreshadowed.
