The musical ‘Mata Hari’ is a work that shines with Ock Joo-hyun‘s character interpretation and delicate skills, as composer Frank Wildhorn said he was inspired by Ock Joo-hyun when writing the music.
Ock Joo-hyun captivates viewers with her splendid ‘Dance of the Temple’, while also bringing tears to their eyes with her farewell number ‘The Last Moment’.
In ‘Dance of the Temple’, Ock Joo-hyun sensually expresses Mata Hari, who debuted in high society, with her flexible dance lines, decorating the peak of extravagance.
In other numbers, ‘Life is’, ‘The Girl from Before’, she shows Margareta being happy after meeting the person she loves, while in ‘The Last Moment’, she portrays her strong side as she makes a choice to protect the one she loves.
Ock Joo-hyun’s acting, going back and forth between the beautiful dancer Mata Hari and her true self Margareta, adds depth to the splendidness, further doubling the audience‘s immersion.
