Actors Jung Kyung-ho, Seol In-ah, and Cha Hak-yeon will be joining forces for MBC‘s new Friday-Saturday drama, “Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin.”

MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama, “Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin,” scheduled to air in May 2025 (planned by Kwon Sung-chang/directed by Lim Soon-rye/written by Kim Bo-tong, Yoo Seung-hee), is a comic fantasy action film that depicts the ups and downs of a labor attorney solving labor problems by seeing ghosts. “Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin,” which has garnered much attention as the first drama directed by “Chungmuro‘s representative director” Lim Soon-rye, is expected to be one of the most anticipated dramas of the first half of 2025 with its attractive lineup of actors.

Jung Kyung-ho, Seol In-ah, and Cha Hak-yeon will show off fantastic triple chemistry and engage in diverse activities to solve various labor problems.

First, Jung Kyung-ho plays the role of Noh Moo-jin, a labor attorney who sees ghosts. Noh Moo-jin is a labor attorney who has no sense of history or social awareness. He is a character who grows up by solving labor problems requested by ghosts after hanging around labor sites to earn office rent and coming back from the brink of death. Jung Kyung-ho’s versatile acting that goes back and forth between serious and comical is anticipated. Jung Kyung-ho, who has been recognized as an actor with both acting skills and box office power through various works such as the dramas ‘Wise Prison Life’, ‘Life on Mars’, ‘Hospital Playlist’, and ‘Daily Scandal’, is expected to add another life character.

Seol In-ah plays the brain who revives the failing Noh Moo-jin office and Noh Moo-jin‘s sister-in-law Na Hee-joo who controls him. Na Hee-joo has no specific job, but she is a character who is quick-witted like a ghost when it comes to money, and she possesses excellent judgment and fiery fighting skills. Seol In-ah, who has established herself as a popular actress through the dramas ‘Mr. Queen’, ‘Office Matchmaking’, ‘Oasis’, ‘Sparkling Watermelon’, as well as recently showing off her versatile charms in the entertainment show ‘Iron Girls’, is expected to captivate the hearts of viewers with her refreshing performance as Na Hee-joo, the assault leader of Noh Moo-jin’s office.

Cha Hak-yeon transforms into video creator Go Kyeon-woo, who started out as a reporter. Go Kyeon-woo is a character with a tall appearance, sly personality, and an eccentric sense of humor. Although he is more concerned with increasing ‘views’ than ‘meaning’ when making videos, he also has a pure side that is touched by the stories of ghosts. Cha Hak-yeon, who has been recognized for his acting in dramas such as ‘Red Moon Blue Sun’, ‘Bad and Crazy’, ‘The Joseon Lawyer’, ‘Diva of the Deserted Island’, forms a strangely pink atmosphere with Seol In-ah in the play, and completes the tiki-taka chemistry as he follows Jung Kyung-ho as his older brother. Attention is focused on Cha Hak-yeon‘s new transformation, who will bring out the charm of Go Kyeon-woo with his natural and lovable acting.

The combination of a production crew that we can trust and watch raises expectations for the perfection of the work. Director Im Soon-rye, who received the spotlight in Chungmuro with films such as ‘The Moment of Our Lives’, ‘Little Forest’, and ‘Negotiation’, will challenge her first drama directing with ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’. The script was written by Kim Bo-tong, who wrote the OTT drama series ‘D.P.’ and ‘The Wilderness’, and Yoo Seung-hee, who wrote the movies ‘My Love, My Bride’, ‘I Can Speak’, and ‘Happy New Year’. It is expected to deliver a meaningful message to viewers by solving the somewhat heavy subject of labor issues with a setting that adds comedy and fantasy.

MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’ is gearing up for production with the goal of broadcasting in May 2025.
