The ‘Entertainment Awards’, considered one of the biggest year-end events in the broadcasting industry, will be held starting with KBS on the 21st, followed by MBC and SBS on the 29th and 30th respectively.

Each broadcasting company is raising expectations by announcing the nominees for the Entertainment Awards ahead of the awards ceremony, but since the entertainment programs that viewers will remember this year came from various OTTs such as ‘Transfer Love’ and ‘Black and White Chef’, there are no candidates that really stand out, which is disappointing.

Among the three broadcasting companies, KBS, which will be holding the awards ceremony first, has Jeon Hyun-moo and Yoo Jae-suk as strong candidates for the Grand Prize.

The ‘2024 KBS Entertainment Awards’, which will be held on the night of the 21st at the KBS New Wing Open Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, will be hosted by Lee Joon, Lee Young-ji, and Lee Chan-won and will look back on the entertainment programs of the year.

The candidates for the grand prize announced by KBS are Yoo Jae-suk, Jeon Hyun-moo, Ryu Soo-young, Lee Chan-won, and Kim Jong-min, who led ‘Synchro You’, ‘The Boss‘s Ears Are Donkey Ears’, ‘Newly Released Convenience Store Restaurant’, ‘2 Days & 1 Night’, and ‘Immortal Songs’, respectively.

While the race is narrowing down to Yoo Jae-suk and Jeon Hyun-moo, Lee Chan-won is also expected to win as he has appeared in various entertainment programs and has been called the ‘Son of KBS’.

On the 29th, the ‘2024 Broadcast Entertainment Awards’, hosted by Jeon Hyun-moo, Hye-ri, and Lee Jang-woo, has only revealed the best couples who showed great chemistry in entertainment programs, but Kian84 is challenging for the grand prize again after winning it last year, and Lee Jang-woo, who gained popularity through ‘The Captain’s Side Dishes’ and ‘Country Village Lee Jang-woo’, is considered a strong candidate.

Jeon Hyun-moo is also promoting ‘I Live Alone’ and ‘It‘s Fortunately If You Get Some Rest’, so it seems like they will compete until the end.

Jeon Hyun-moo will also be hosting the ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’, which will be held on the 31st, following KBS.

Yoo Jae-suk, who enjoys unwavering popularity, is considered a candidate for the grand prize at the awards ceremony hosted by Jeon Hyun-moo, Lee Hyun-yi, and Jang Do-yeon.

SBS is raising the topic of conversation by releasing the most popular variety show among entertainment programs, ‘Running Man’, and the new ‘When You Get a Chance’, so people are saying, ‘Eodaeyu’ (Anyway, the grand prize is Yoo Jae-suk).
