MBC‘s Disney+’s ‘Moving’ (directed by Park In-je and Park Yoon-seo/written by Kang Full) tells the story of children who live while hiding their special abilities.
Kim Bong-seok (played by Lee Jung-ha), Jang Hee-soo (played by Go Yoon-jung), and Lee Kang-hoon (played by Kim Do-hoon), who live as ordinary high school seniors while hiding their superpowers from others, meet as classmates at Jeongwon High School. As they share innocent feelings and become closer, curiosity grows as their secrets are revealed. In addition, school officials, including homeroom teacher Choi Il-hwan (played by Kim Hee-won), keep a close eye on the children‘s abilities, heightening their anxiety. Attention is focused on who they are and what their fates will be.
An ominous current is also detected in the appearance of the parents’ generation in the work. The story of Lee Mi-hyeon (played by Han Hyo-joo), who runs a pork cutlet restaurant alone and takes good care of her son Bong-seok, and Jang Joo-won (played by Ryu Seung-ryong), the father who opened a chicken restaurant and doting father who cherishes Hee-soo, is said to be capturing the hearts of viewers as it is revealed. People are curious about the past that these seemingly ordinary parents have been hiding.
Also, the appearance of Frank (played by Ryu Seung-beom), an unidentified character, is a must-watch point. His action sequence, where he is given the mission of finding retired superpowered people, approaches with intense tension in the drama. Since the entire series has been rated 19 years of age and older, the vivid battle scenes of the superpowered people are expected to provide tension that will keep viewers glued to their seats. Attention is also focused on the whereabouts of retired superpowered people known by code names such as Jincheon (played by Baek Hyun-jin) and Bongpyeong (played by Choi Deok-moon).
‘Moving’, based on the webtoon of the same name by Kang Full, achieved the highest viewership record among domestic original series at the time of its release on Disney+ and received enthusiastic responses worldwide. As it meets more viewers as a TV series this time, it is drawing attention as the first case of collaboration between a global OTT and a domestic terrestrial broadcast. The main broadcast, which will mark the beginning of Kang Full‘s worldview that has caused a global syndrome, is more anticipated than ever.
‘Moving’, presented by MBC, will air eight episodes in a row starting with episodes 1-2 on Friday, the 22nd at 10 PM, and will air twice a week on Sunday nights starting in January.
