‘Suspicious Girl’ Kim Hae-sook and Jung Ji-so showed a solid presence.

In KBS 2TV‘s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Suspicious Girl’ (directed by Park Yong-soon/written by Heo Seung-min), which airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:50 p.m., the ending where Mal-soon (played by Kim Hae-sook) in her 70s and Mal-soon (played by Jung Ji-so) in her 20s meet in the same space surprised viewers.

In the previous episode, the scene where Mal-soon got in a mysterious taxi and arrived at a youth photo studio and met a photographer (played by Kim Byung-ok) with the same face as the taxi driver (played by Kim Byung-ok) soared to a peak viewership rating of 5.4% (based on nationwide households, provided by Nielsen Korea), adding fresh fun to the living room theater with its unpredictable characters.

Among them, the acting skills of Kim Hae-sook and Jung Ji-so, who played the same selves, caught the tastes of viewers. It was a good sniper. Mal-soon, who is in her 70s, made viewers cry with her hurt look after hearing harsh words from her daughter Ban Ji-sook (played by Seo Young-hee), and later, Mal-soon (played by Oh Du-ri), who has turned into a 20-year-old, has difficulty using the kiosk and clumsily deals with new things, drawing sympathy with her 70-something emotions.

Attention is focused on the new sides of the two of them going forward, and we looked back on the performances of Kim Hae-sook and Jeong Ji-so that have aired up to the second episode.

● Kim Hae-sook captivates the living room theater with her delicate emotional acting

Mal-soon, who is in her 70s, told her family that she wanted to participate in a singing program to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a singer. However, when her daughter Ji-sook coldly opposed her, Mal-soon engaged in a tense standoff with her, heightening the tension of the drama.

After participating in a singing program, Mal-soon ruined the stage of ‘The Man in the Yellow Shirt’ and burst into tears after coming down. She made people curious about why she was so nervous and what kind of relationship Mal-soon had with Kim Ae-shim (played by Cha Hwa-yeon), the original singer of ‘The Man in the Yellow Shirt’.

After ruining the stage and returning home, Mal-soon once again came into conflict with Ji-sook. Mal-soon stopped her daughter Ji-sook from scolding her granddaughter Choi Ha-na (played by Chae Won-bin), and Ji-sook drove a nail into Mal-soon’s heart with barbed words. Upon hearing this, Mal-soon‘s eyes immediately turned red and she felt sorry for her. Kim Hae-sook’s acting, which delicately expressed the heart of a mother shocked by her daughter, garnered sympathy from viewers. At the end of the second episode, Mal-soon in her 70s appeared as a third person with a completely different style, surprising everyone. Kim Hae-sook, who has returned, is raising expectations for the character she will portray in the future.

● Ji-so Jeong, who fully displays the emotions of a woman in her 70s

Malsoon (played by Ji-so Jeong), who has transformed into a woman in her 20s, is a character with the emotions of a grandmother in her 70s, despite her appearance. The rejuvenated Malsoon brought laughter to the living room theater with her extraordinary way of speaking and behavior, and her inability to order at a kiosk, which are inconsistent with her appearance. Ji-so Jeong captivated viewers‘ attention in the second episode with her deep acting that did not match her age.

In addition, Ji-so Jeong, who made a drastic transformation with her bob hair to match her grandmother image, drew admiration from viewers with her 70s emotions in her voice tone, speech, gait, and even every single facial expression.

In this way, Kim Hae-sook and Ji-so Jeong took over the living room theater with their brilliant chemistry while acting the same character. The two people who met the viewers with an interesting look are raising expectations for the different sides they will show in the future and the chemistry between Kim Hae-sook and Jung Ji-so.

The third episode of KBS 2TV’s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Miss Granny’ will air on the 25th (Wednesday) at 9:50 PM.
