A woman who lived with two mothers-in-law under one roof eventually couldn‘t hold back her anger any longer and slapped her with a ‘seasoned rib slap’.

On the Tcast Drama Cube program ‘The Ultimate Couple’ that aired on the 19th, the unfortunate story of a woman who couldn’t endure the hardships of living with her two mothers-in-law in the same house was portrayed.

The woman had been living alone taking care of her mother-in-law since her father-in-law suddenly passed away a year ago. She was living happily thanks to her affectionate husband, loving son, and mother-in-law who took care of her like her own daughter.

Then one day, another mother-in-law, the husband‘s biological mother, appeared and the conflict between the two mothers-in-law exploded. Her biological mother, who had lived in the US and came to Korea, had no proper place to live, so she ended up staying at the story’s husband‘s house.



After 8 years of marriage, the story’s mother-in-law, who had two completely different personalities, came to live with her. She tried to mediate between the two mothers-in-law and keep the family together, but the fight between the mothers-in-law over her son and grandchild only grew bigger.

The two mothers-in-law each tormented the story in their own ways. The mother-in-law who raised the story made things difficult for the story by pretending to be sick, and the biological mother drank all day and nagged at the story.

What made things even harder for the story was her indecisive husband who did not take care of his wife. On her husband‘s birthday, the story’s biological mother got into a car accident while preparing soy sauce marinated crab and ribs for him. Even at the moment of the accident, the food was preserved and handed over to the victim.

The victim brought the food while shedding tears, but the mothers-in-law said, “The bowl broke and the smell of crab sauce fills the house,” and threw away all of her mother-in-law’s food. Unable to contain her anger, the victim forced seasoned ribs into the mouths of her two mothers-in-law and her husband, venting her anger.

Seeing the victim’s exhausted appearance, Ahn Hyun-mo said, “You must be having a really hard time, but there’s no one around you who understands how you feel. You can’t even tell your mother that you’re having a hard time.”
