The network of characters that orbit each other like the orbit of the solar system has been revealed.

tvN‘s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Ask the Stars’ (written by Seo Sook-hyang, directed by Park Shin-woo) is a drama that depicts the extraterrestrial life of Eve (played by Gong Hyo-jin), a boss working in a zero-gravity space station, and an uninvited dinosaur (played by Lee Min-ho) with a secret mission. It is the first space office drama to be attempted in Korea.

It foreshadows the chemistry that transcends gravity between the astronauts who commute to the space station to succeed in their missions and the Earthlings who assist them from Earth. Accordingly, the character relationships are also drawing attention with the connections between the characters that are drawn to each other like the moon and Earth in the movie.

According to the production team, the character relationships center around the dinosaur and Eve Kim, who will meet as a tourist and a commander in the space station (ILS). The word “enemy” between Dinosaur, a tourist who paid an astronomical amount of money to set foot in space from an obstetrician/gynecologist at MZ Hospital, and Commander Eve Kim, who came here on a mission risking her life, foreshadows an uncomfortable journey for the two.

Space scientists Kang Kang-soo (played by Oh Jung-se), Lee Seung-jun (played by Heo Nam-joon), and Mina Lee (played by Lee Cho-hee), who will spend their daily lives on the space station with Dinosaur and Eve Kim, also draw attention. The three of them are conducting research on living things such as animals and plants in a zero-gravity space where everything weighs 0 grams, so their activities, which will bring about new discoveries for mankind, are also drawing attention.

Meanwhile, the Seoul MCC Ground Control Center on Earth is working to ensure the safe return of the astronauts on the space station. Eve Kim’s school seniors and juniors Kang Tae-hee (played by Lee El) and Park Dong-ah (played by Kim Joo-hun), and space scientist Mina Lee‘s blood-related sister Donna Lee (played by Lee Cho-hee) are gaining attention for their solid teamwork as they travel across the atmosphere.

In addition, the MZ Group people are also forming close relationships with the space station characters. Among them, MZ Group Chairman Choi Jae-ryong (played by Kim Eung-soo) secretly requests a mission from his daughter Choi Go-eun’s (played by Han Ji-eun) boyfriend, Yu-gong. Curiosity is growing about what Choi Jae-ryong wants to accomplish in space through the hands of his prospective son-in-law Yu-gong and the true nature of the mission.

Furthermore, the presence of the rich moms Ji Hwa-ja (played by Jeon Soo-kyung), Jang Mi-hwa (played by Choi Jung-won), and Jeong Na-mi (played by Jung Young-joo) who are eagerly awaiting the Yu-gong in space also draws attention. Even though the house is not fancy, the love and excitement of the three mothers who are conglomerates and the dinosaur who is away in a foreign land are anticipated.

‘Ask the Stars’ will be first broadcast at 9:20 PM on January 4, 2025.
