The dangerous meeting between released trainees Ryeoun and Lee Ki-taek begins.
In the Genie TV original drama ‘Namib’ (written by Eom Sung-min, directed by Han Sang-jae and Kang Min-goo), which will be first aired on the 23rd, Ryeoun and Lee Ki-taek will play the roles of Yoo Jin-woo and Chris, respectively, released trainees from Pandora Entertainment, and will experience an inevitable conflict between reality and dreams.
Pandora Entertainment trainee Yoo Jin-woo has musical talent, but after failing to debut every time, he is eventually released from the company and ends up on the streets. Yoo Jin-woo even has a debt of 200 million won that his parents borrowed from the agency, so he struggles to find a way to survive on his own.
The person that Yoo Jin-woo thinks of is none other than Chris, an employee of Club Muse, who he used to be a trainee with. Chris, who was once a talented prospect, gave up on his dream due to a certain incident and is now doing something else. Having lost his light a long time ago and completely turned back to the world of darkness.
Although the two people live in different worlds, both Jin-woo Yoo and Chris are left with the same wounds of having given up on their dreams due to reality. Chris offers a helping hand to Jin-woo Yoo, whom he cared for like his own younger brother, so that he can remain in his territory.
In particular, since Jin-woo Yoo received a scout offer from Kang Soo-hyun (Go Hyun-jung), the former CEO of Pandora Entertainment, after his release, the concerns between Kang Soo-hyun and Chris are likely to deepen even more. Attention is focused on what decision Yoo Jin-woo will make, as he has the desire to shine again but no courage to take on the challenge and no place to rest right now.
Meanwhile, ‘Namib’, which contains the story of fired star producer Kang Soo-hyun and released long-term trainee Yoo Jin-woo meeting and moving forward toward their respective goals, will be first broadcast on ENA at 10 p.m. on the 23rd.
