Jang Na-ra expressed her gratitude to Nam Ji-hyun, who created woman’s chemistry with Jang Na-ra in the drama, saying, “I was able to do a lot because of Nam Ji-hyun. She was a blessing to the drama and to me.” Jang Na-ra, who gained great popularity through SBS‘s ‘Success Story of a Bright Girl’, became the unconventional owner of the Daesang trophy with ‘The Last Empress’, ‘VIP’, and ‘Good Partner’ in 2024, recording the highest viewership rating of 18.7% for an SBS drama this year.
Park Shin-hye, who gave a passionate performance as Kang Bit-na in ‘The Judge from Hell’, enjoyed the joy of receiving the ‘Director’s Award’, an award chosen directly by the PDs who created the dramas. Park Shin-hye said, “I received the Best New Child Actor Award at the SBS Drama Awards 21 years ago,” explaining the meaning of the award, and added, “Thank you again for accepting my change so coolly and joyfully.” She also gave credit to director Park Jin-pyo of ‘Judge from Hell’, co-star Kim Jae-young, and all the actors in each episode, and ended by expressing her affection for her husband, saying, “Mr. Choi Tae-joon, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the first time.”.

In the seasonal drama category, Kim Nam-gil and Lee Ha-nui of ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ shared the honor. The Best Acting Awards in the Miniseries Human/Fantasy category went to Kim Jae-young of ‘Judge from Hell’ and Nam Ji-hyun of ‘Good Partner’.
‘Connection’ was chosen for the ‘Drama of the Year’. Director Kim Moon-kyo of ‘Connection’ gave all the glory to the actors and writer, giving a warm feeling. In addition, actress Kim Young-ok, who has shown genuine acting and class in numerous works that have helped SBS establish itself as a drama kingdom, took home the honor of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Best Acting Awards in the Miniseries Genre/Action category went to Kwak Si-yang and Park Ji-hyun of ‘Chaebol X Detective’. In the Miniseries Human/Fantasy category, Kim Jun-han and Pyo Ji-hoon from ‘Good Partner’ and Kim Ah-young from ‘The Judge From Hell’ shared the joy of receiving awards. In the Seasonal Drama category, Kim Sung-kyun and Sung Joon from ‘The Fiery Priest 2’, Kim Hyung-seo, and Lee Yoo-bi from ‘Resurrection of the Seven’ won awards. In particular, Kim Hyung-seo gave a cute speech in his signature charming dialect, saying, “I‘m really grateful that you think I’m excellent.”.
The Best Couple Award went to Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young, who gave hearts flutters with their sweet chemistry in ‘The Judge From Hell’. Park Shin-hye expressed her joy, saying that this is an award she has never missed at the SBS Drama Awards, and Kim Jae-young made everyone laugh by saying that he achieved his dream as ‘Park Shin-hye‘s man’ through this work.
The Best Performance Award went to Lee Kyu-han of ‘The Judge from Hell’, who digested bold villain roles with a wide spectrum, and Han Jae-yi of ‘Good Partner’, who heightened the immersion in the drama by expressing the role of a live-in girlfriend in her own unique way. The Best Teamwork Award, chosen directly by the Studio S production team, went to the Daejung Law Firm team of the 4 lawyers (Jang Na-ra, Nam Ji-hyun, Kim Jun-han, Pyo Ji-hoon) from ‘Good Partner’, and the Scene Stealer Award was jointly awarded to Go Kyu-pil and Ahn Chang-hwan, who played supporting roles as the duo of Oh Yo-han and Song Sak from ‘The Fiery Priest 2’.
In the Supporting Actor category, Kwon Yul, Kim Kyung-nam, Yoon Sa-bong, and Jung Yoo-min from ‘Connection’, a drama full of acting without any holes in their acting, shared the honor of receiving the award in the Miniseries Genre/Action category. In the seasonal drama category, Seo Hyun-woo of ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ and Shim Yi-young of ‘Resurrection of the Seven’ moved everyone by attending the year-end awards ceremony for the first time in 15 years since their debut. Kim In-kwon, Kim Jae-hwa, and the Kim Hye-hwa sisters of ‘The Judge from Hell’ won the Supporting Actor Award in the Miniseries - Human/Fantasy category, showing a touching scene. Ji Seung-hyun, who received much love as the nation’s adulterer through ‘Good Partner’, also jointly won the Supporting Actor Award in the Miniseries - Human/Fantasy category.
The Youth Acting Awards went to Yuna, who was praised as an ‘acting genius’ for her sincere expression of complex inner thoughts in ‘Good Partner’, and Moon Woo-jin, who displayed a strong presence in ‘The Fiery Priest 2’. The Rookie Acting Award, which is all the more meaningful because you can only receive it once in your lifetime, went to Kang Sang-joon and Kim Shin-bi of ‘Chaebol X Detective’, Seo Beom-jun of ‘The Fiery Priest 2’, Kim Min-joo of ‘Connection’, and Choi Yoo-joo of ‘Resurrection of the Seven’.
