The ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ members faced a cold-weather camp instead of a staycation.

The first story of the ‘Happy Staycation’ special of the six members was depicted on the KBS 2TV entertainment program ‘2 Days & 1 Night Season 4’ (hereafter ‘2 Days ’), which aired on the 22nd. The broadcast on that day ranked first in the same time slot with a viewership rating of 9.4% (Nielsen Korea data, nationwide), which was an increase from the previous week. The highest viewership rating soared to 13.0% in the scene where Moon Se-yoon swings an axe to obtain cold-weather camp survival supplies. The opening that day was held in a luxurious banquet hall with a red carpet, and the production team excited the ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ team by saying, “A happy vacation special prepared to spend a special year-end”. The members began their trip in earnest, half in doubt but secretly satisfied with the comfortable limousine bus.

In keeping with the vacation special, the production team held a ‘Winter Song Quiz’ competition with the best Korean beef grilled, and Yoo Seon-ho and DinDin won a Korean beef course meal ticket by being the first to answer three questions correctly. The production crew proposed a quiz competition to the four members who had remained on the bus, envying the two who had left for the restaurant, so that they could participate in the meal in place of DinDin and Yoo Seon-ho, and Moon Se-yoon and Lee Joon, who were the winners, rushed into the restaurant right away.

The rotation of the six members through the quiz competition continued after this, and the members who entered the restaurant finished the meal that was like a war, stuffing food into their mouths without even having time to savor the taste.



The ‘2 Days ’ team, which moved to the next location, witnessed a dessert generously prepared on a three-tiered tray, and the production crew prepared a ‘happy hour’ event for the “perfect staycation. He reassured the members, saying, “It’s free today, so enjoy happy hour to your heart’s content.” After that, starting with Kim Jong-min, all the members continued to enjoy a happy staycation, even receiving refreshing massages from golden-handed experts.

Afterwards, the members who were resting in the warm ondol room discovered a gift box placed in one place. The moment Jo Se-ho, curious, opened the box, a sharp alarm rang out, and mysterious men barged into the room, dragged Jo Se-ho, who had opened the box, and took him somewhere.

Jo Se-ho, who was led to a place by the men, realized that the concept of this trip was not a ‘happy staycation’, but a ‘happy cold spell’. Jo Se-ho, who became the first to enter the signature cold weather camp of ‘2 Days & 1 Night’, put on the wilderness jumper and hat he was given and set out to build a base camp.

The five members who were indoors also learned the truth about the ‘Happy Vacation’ special, and through the game, two members entered the cold weather camp every 20 minutes. With the last one, Yoo Seon-ho, joining the cold weather camp, the six members who gathered again took on the mission to obtain a set of five survival items.

In the first round, which featured the romantic set, Moon Se-yoon took on the mission of splitting firewood exactly in half. Attention is focused on whether the ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ team, which announced the start of the cold weather camp, will be able to obtain the survival items.
