JTBC has revealed its new drama lineup for the first half of 2025.

JTBC will be scheduling various genres such as office, healing, and comedy investigation dramas for the new year.

The video released on the 23rd through the official JTBC Drama YouTube channel contains the next works of star directors Ahn Pan-seok, Kim Seok-yoon, and Shim Na-yeon.

First, ‘The Art of Negotiation’ (directed by Ahn Pan-seok, written by Lee Seung-young) is an office drama that depicts the activities of a legendary negotiator and a corporate M&A expert and his team. Director Ahn Pan-seok, who directed ‘White Tower’, ‘Secret Love Affair’, and ‘Pretty Sister Who Buys Me Food’, presents an office drama through ‘The Art of Negotiation’. Lee Je-hoon, who has played a variety of roles with his own style across movies and dramas, takes on the role of a legendary silver-haired negotiator this time. Solid actors Kim Dae-myung and Sung Dong-il also join the cast.

Director Kim Seok-yoon‘s new work, including ‘The Light in Your Eyes’ and ‘My Liberation Diary’, is also about to be released. ‘More Beautiful Than Heaven’ (directed by Kim Seok-yoon, written by Lee Nam-gyu and Kim Soo-jin) is a romance that transcends the present life in which the protagonist, who has faced death, meets his lover again in heaven. Following Kim Hye-ja, who won the Grand Prize in the TV category at the ‘55th Baeksang Arts Awards’ for ‘The Light in Your Eyes’, Son Seok-goo, who played the role of Mr. Gu in ‘My Liberation Diary’, also joins the cast. Han Ji-min, who is called director Kim Seok-yoon’s persona, will also be joining the cast.


Director Shim Na-yeon, who rose to star director status with ‘Monster’, ‘Bad Mom’, will also be releasing a new work in the new year. ‘Good Boy’ (directed by Shim Na-yeon, written by Lee Dae-il), which was originally scheduled to air this year, but its production schedule was delayed due to Park Bo-gum‘s injury, is one of them. ‘Good Boy’ is a comic action investigative drama about medalists who become police officers through special recruitment and fight against a world full of unscrupulousness by wearing their police ID cards instead of their medals. Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang, Heo Sung-tae, and Tae Won-seok star. Expectations are high for this work, as Park Bo-gum, who has always played weak characters, will break away from his boyish image and show off his masculinity. Here, director Shim Na-yeon’s unique directing skills, known for delicately following the actors‘ emotional lines, are also drawing attention.
