‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’ 7 Nominees Revealed… Lee Hyun is the Only Female

The nominees for the Grand Prize for the ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’ have been revealed.

The teaser released today (23rd) shows the 7 nominees for the ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’ Grand Prize appearing in front of a mysterious priest and making confessions, drawing attention. In particular, Kim Nam Gil, an actor from the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Fiery Priest 2’, personally narrated the narration.

Yoo Jae Suk, Jeon Hyun Moo, Shin Dong Yup, Lee Sang Min, Seo Jang Hoon, Lee Hyun Yi, and Kim Jong Kook were selected as the nominees for this year‘s Grand Prize. The seven candidates made everyone laugh by not hiding their desire for the grand prize from the teaser video.

First, Lee Sang-min from ‘My Little Old Boy’, ‘Shoes Off and Single for Men’ expressed his desire, saying, “Honestly, I want to win the grand prize once.” Lee Hyun-yi from ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny’, ‘Goal Scorers’ showed her enthusiasm by getting up from her seat and even dancing. Kim Jong-kook from ‘Running Man’, ‘My Little Old Boy’ sniped, saying, “Stamina needs to be included in the grand prize criteria. Are Lee Sang-min and Jeon Hyun-moo filming a variety show with bodies like that?”. Jeon Hyun-moo, who appeared in ‘The Magic Star’, ‘Strong Heart VS’, said, “It seems like I’m having a fling with SBS. He didn‘t hide his desire for the Grand Prize, saying, “I want to work at SBS.”

Yoo Jae-suk from ‘Running Man’, ‘Whenever I have a chance’, and Shin Dong-yup from ‘My Little Old Boy’ told the mysterious priest, “I’m confused” and “Please shut up”, respectively, creating tense atmosphere. Finally, Kim Jong-kook expressed his anger by saying, “Come out and see,” raising curiosity about the mysterious priest who got into a fight with the Grand Prize candidates.

The ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’ will be held at 9 PM on Tuesday, December 31st, with Jeon Hyun-moo, Jang Do-yeon, and Lee Hyun-yi as the three MCs. As it is the first ever ‘SBS Entertainment Awards’, held on December 31st, SBS entertainers will all gather to put on a congratulatory performance.
