Go Hyun-jung and Ryeo-woon enter into an exploratory war to explore each other right before signing a contract.
In episode 2 of the Genie TV original drama ‘Namib’ (written by Eom Sung-min, directed by Han Sang-jae and Kang Min-goo), trainee Yoo Jin-woo (played by Ryeo-woon) begins to show off his charms in order to capture the heart of producer Kang Soo-hyun (played by Go Hyun-jung).
In the previous episode, Kang Soo-hyun, a founding member of Pandora Entertainment, and long-term trainee Yoo Jin-woo were depicted being unfairly kicked out of the company. Kang Soo-hyun needs money to take responsibility for the future of her son, who is bullied by those around him because he can‘t hear, and Yoo Jin-woo needs money to pay off his parents’ debt to the company and a place to stay.
So Kang Soo-hyun decides to use Yoo Jin-woo to achieve her goal, and encourages him to participate in the Star Rise auditions. Yoo Jin-woo, who was unable to answer Kang Soo-hyun‘s words that he must win, made a bold move by mentioning the school violence incident involving his classmate and Kang Soo-hyun’s son, Shim Jin-woo (played by Lee Jin-woo). Kang Soo-hyun‘s expression hardened coldly at Yoo Jin-woo’s unexpected words, and tension filled the negotiation table.
While curiosity grew over whether Kang Soo-hyun and Yoo Jin-woo, who had an awkward start, would be able to sign the contract safely, the photos released by the production team captured Yoo Jin-woo‘s surprise stage scene that shook Kang Soo-hyun’s heart. Yoo Jin-woo‘s bright energy as he played the guitar and sang in the park made passersby stop in their tracks.
Kang Soo-hyun looks at Yoo Jin-woo with a pleased smile on her face, foreshadowing that the green light will turn again for their contract. Indeed, attention is focused on whether the negotiation between Kang Soo-hyun and Yoo Jin-woo, who risked their lives for each other, will end happily through this stage.
The second episode of ‘Namib’ will air for the first time on ENA at 10 p.m. on the 24th.
