Singer Taeyang will appear as a relay narrator for ‘Korean Table’.
On the episode of ‘Korean Table’ that airs on KBS 1TV on the afternoon of the 26th (Thursday), Taeyang of group Big Bang will appear as a special narrator and introduce a more delicious winter table.
In an interview with the production team conducted prior to the recording that day, Taeyang revealed that he is a fan of ‘Korean Table’, saying, “It‘s a program that I really like, so I said I wanted to do it as soon as I got the offer to appear on it.
It is known that Taeyang likes Korean food the most, to the point that he revealed on a cooking show in the past that G-Dragon takes an electric rice cooker with him when he goes on overseas concerts.
Regarding this, Taeyang said, “When I come back to Korea after going abroad, I often eat kimchi stew, sundae gukbap, and Pyongyang naengmyeon,” proving that he has a strong taste for Korean food. He also said, “I think Daesung, who has similar tastes to me, would definitely try a ‘Korean meal,’” making everyone laugh.
In particular, Taeyang, who practiced all night the day before while reading the script because he was worried about whether he would be able to do the narration well, is expected to captivate viewers’ hearts with his easygoing and pure voice acting that is different from his charisma on stage.
The broadcast that day started with Taeyang’s emotional comment, “I’m glad I’m not alone this winter,” and featured Cheongpung Lake by his side. A winter dining journey begins in the mountain village of Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province, and continues to the cypress forest of Jangseong, South Jeolla Province, boasting beautiful snowy scenery.
‘Indigenous Taste’ ‘Korean Dining Table’, which is met with the voice of the sun, will be broadcast on KBS 1TV at 7:40 PM on the 26th (Thursday).
