Jung Kyung-ho is making a comeback by joining hands with director Im Soon-rye.
He will return to the small screen through MBC‘s new drama ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’, scheduled to air next year. His drama comeback will be his first in two years since the popular drama ‘Daily Scandal’ in 2023, and he is determined to once again achieve a new milestone through his new work ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’.
‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin’ is a story about a labor attorney who sees ghosts and struggles to solve labor issues.
He plays the role of labor attorney Noh Moo-jin in the drama, which is advertised as a comic fantasy action film.
In the drama, Noh Moo-jin is a labor attorney who only cares about making a living without any sense of history or society. He is a character who hangs around labor sites to earn office rent, returns from the brink of death, and grows while solving labor problems commissioned by ghosts while crying.
As he has gained popularity by switching between serious and comical appearances, expectations are rising for Jung Kyung-ho’s comedic acting full of his unique ‘foolishness’. Following ‘Hospital Playlist’ and ‘Daily Scandal’, he is planning to renew another life character by taking on a professional role again.
Jung Kyung-ho‘s assistants are played by Seol In-ah and Cha Hak-yeon. In the drama, Seol In-ah plays Na Hee-joo, the sister-in-law who manipulates Jung Kyung-ho, and Cha Hak-yeon plays Go Gyeon-woo, a video creator who started out as a reporter and bickers with Jung Kyung-ho.
This drama is garnering attention even before it airs as it is Jung Kyung-ho’s comeback and director Yim Soon-rye‘s first drama directorial work. Director Im Soon-rye has secured a solid audience base through ‘The Moment of Our Lives’, ‘Little Forest’, and ‘Negotiation’, which was released last year.
The script was written by Kim Bo-tong, who wrote the Netflix drama ‘D.P.’ series, and Yoo Seung-hee, who wrote the screenplays for the movies ‘My Love, My Bride’, ‘I Can Speak’.
