Singer Son Tae-jin has created another legendary stage with his unique ‘High-Class Trot’ singing style.

Son Tae-jin appeared on the ‘2024 SBS Trot Battle’ that aired on the 28th and performed a special stage that goes well with the end of the year, including ‘Mask’, one of the triple title songs from his first regular album ‘SHINE’.

On that day, Son Tae-jin appeared in a luxurious white suit with a mask and cape, and transformed into a conductor leading an orchestra session, completing a magnificent ‘Mask’. A modern dancer performed along with Son Tae-jin‘s narration, instantly maximizing the immersion in the song.

Son Tae-jin delivered a comforting message of hope for a bright day like the sun to lonely youth with his soft yet powerful voice, giving a deeply moving performance.

Son Tae-jin then selected Song Chang-sik’s ‘Whale Hunting’, and displayed the majestic appearance of a navigator starting an adventure by reaching out toward the sky as a signal. The audience responded enthusiastically to the stage reborn with Son Tae-jin‘s resonant voice.

Son Tae-jin also presented a special stage to welcome the year 2025. Son Tae-jin passionately sang the Scottish folk song ‘Farewell’s Love’, doubling the emotion as Son Tae-jin‘s deep bass added to the lyrical and beautiful atmosphere. Son Tae-jin decorated the warm year-end by shooting new energy of hope in the year of Eulsa.

Son Tae-jin achieved his own new initial record with his first regular album ‘SHINE’ released last October, and is currently successfully conducting his first national tour in various places across the country. Based on his performance this year, Son Tae-jin won the TOP 10 and highest viewership ratings categories at the MBC ON ‘2024 Trot Champion Awards’, becoming a double winner.
