Lim Ji-yeon‘s husband, who had left her side, returned in an unexpected form.

In episode 7 of JTBC’s Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Madam Ok‘s Story’ (written by Park Ji-sook, directed by Jin Hyeok and Choi Bo-yoon, produced by SLL, Corpus Korea) aired on the 28th, the story of Ok Tae-young (played by Lim Ji-yeon) returning to Cheongsu-hyeon where those who are after her are waiting, leaving behind her first love Cheon Seung-hwi (played by Chu Young-woo). The viewership ratings recorded 7.9% in the metropolitan area and 8.1% nationwide (based on Nielsen Korea paid households).

Ok Tae-young followed Man-seok (played by Lee Jae-won) to a place where she met Cheon Seung-hwi, whom she had said goodbye to 7 years ago. Cheon Seung-hwi had his book stolen by the person she had been teaching, and Ok Tae-young quickly resolved the issue, clearing Cheon Seung-hwi’s name. Thanks to this, Cheon Seung-hui resumed performing and, by order of the Minister of Rites, became a member of Joseon‘s cultural delegation and even had the opportunity to perform in the Qing Dynasty.

Not only that, but Cheon Seung-hui’s father, Song Byeong-geun (played by Heo Jun-seok), who had come to see the performance at Ok Tae-young‘s request, surprised everyone by coming to see Cheon Seung-hui and telling him to come home. “I want to see you like this much”, Ok Tae-young put in all her efforts for Cheon Seung-hwi’s happiness, but Cheon Seung-hwi still showed his unchanging affection, saying that he would give up anything if only she was by his side.

Amid the sadness that the love between the two that could not come true reached its peak, Ok Tae-young headed back home while ruminating on Cheon Seung-hwi‘s earnest sincerity contained in the book ‘The Officer and the Woman’ that he had retrieved.

Ok Tae-young, who soon returned to Cheongsu-hyeon, began to hurry up and organize the wedding of her brother-in-law Seong Do-gyeom (played by Kim Jae-won) and Cha Mi-ryeong (played by Yeon Woo). While he was away, the two people who had grown closer wanted to be united, and he put his heart into sharing bracelets with Cha Mi-ryeong and Hong-sil, who would become one family.

However, Cha Mi-ryeong was revealed to be the daughter of the Baek family, who had caused the death of Ok Tae-young’s servant Baek Yi (played by Yoon Seo-ah), which shocked the viewers. It was all planned by Mrs. Song (played by Jeon Ik-ryeong), who was always waiting for an opportunity to take revenge on Ok Tae-young. Cha Mi-ryeong focused attention by vowing with a determined face that she would definitely get revenge on Ok Tae-young.

And soon after, news came that Seong Yoon-gyeom‘s (played by Chu Young-woo) body had been found, and Ok Tae-young and Seong Do-gyeom could not contain their shock and went to the government office. There is growing curiosity as to whether Sung Yoon-gyeom, who pretended not to know his wife Ok Tae-young whom he ran into by chance not long ago and coldly left, really returned as a cold corpse.

Ok Tae-young, who returned with fond memories of his first love buried in his heart, but who is once again faced with a crisis due to threats closing in from all sides, will reveal his future in episode 8 of JTBC’s Sat-Sun drama ‘Madame Ok‘s Story’, which airs tonight (the 29th) at 10:30 p.m.
