‘The Ttanttara’ Cancellation → Album Release Postponed… Aftermath of Jeju Air Plane Accident [Official]

With KBS2‘s ‘The Ttanttara’ being canceled, the album release has also been postponed.

On the 29th, Init Entertainment announced, “The album release of ‘NINE’, which was scheduled for 6 PM today (29th), has been inevitably postponed due to the cancellation of the KBS ‘The Ttanttara’ broadcast. We ask for everyone’s understanding and will announce the related schedule through a later notice.”

On this day, KBS announced the cancellation of ‘The Ttanttara’, ‘2 Days ’, ‘The Boss‘s Ears Are Donkey Ears’, and ‘Gag Concert’. KBS1 is broadcasting 24 hours a day with a special news report starting at 9:58 AM, and KBS2’s regular weekend entertainment programs were canceled and replaced with programs such as ‘Secret of Birth, Aging, Illness, and Death‘, ‘Family of Love’.

At around 9:03 AM on that day, a Jeju Air passenger plane attempted a body landing at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do after failing to lower its landing gear, skidding off the runway, crashing into the outer wall, and exploding. Of the 181 people on board the plane, 179 South Korean nationals and 2 Thai nationals, 2 were rescued and 132 people (as of 4:30 PM) were confirmed dead.
