Choi Woo-jin, impressed with his terrestrial debut work ‘Boom’ (Jigeoshin)
Newcomer Choi Woo-jin has definitely impressed with his first terrestrial debut work.
In episodes 9 and 10 of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Phone Call You Are Picking Up’ (planned by Kwon Sung-chang/ directed by Park Sang-woo, Wi Deuk-gyu/ written by Kim Ji-woon/ produced by Bon Factory, Baram Pictures) that aired on the 27th and 28th, it was revealed that Park Do-jae, played by Choi Woo-jin, is the twin brother of a missing child from Shinil Orphanage.
In the episode, Park Do-jae becomes Baek Sa-eon‘s (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) right after getting revenge on him for hurting his older brother, but finds out that the kidnapper (played by Park Jae-yoon) is the real Baek Sa-eon. Park Do-jae took the knife swinging at Baek Sa-eon by the kidnapper at the three-way meeting, correcting the misunderstanding and conveying his true feelings to Baek Sa-eon.
Choi Woo-jin impressed viewers by playing both the honest little Baek Sa-eon and the cynical kidnapper’s accomplice. He showed his emotions while being injured and losing consciousness, and he shed tears while facing a picture of his brother‘s remains.
Meanwhile, MBC’s ‘The Phone Call You Just Dialed’, starring Choi Woo-jin, airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m. With only two episodes left until the drama ends, attention is focused on Choi Woo-jin‘s future activities as the ‘key man’, who holds the plot’s twist.
